As a Singaporean Chinese here on holiday craving Chinese food, I feel I have some fairly good credibility when it comes to rating and tasting Chinese food. This resto serves a mix of Sichuan style stir fry cuisine with some other more palatable Asian fare, like their style of ramen and such, but I only got the ones I wanted, which was the Beef Fried Rice, Stir-fried Cabbage and Stir-fried Pork.

The beef fried rice here is of the slightly wetter style, not my favourite as it should be more oily with individually coated grains of rice in oil and egg. It's good with beef though, and the other dishes pair well with saltiness and spiciness.

The stir fried pork tastes close to what I've had at countless other places, with a key difference being the pork belly used. It's a more western dry and tougher style pork belly instead of the springier and softer ones more commonly seen with this, but the saltiness is great, flavour is almost spot on, could be spicier and kick more too. Interesting twist using mushrooms which soak up the sauces well

The cabbage is splendid, also could use a little more "ma" and "la" from the chilis and peppercorns to give it a more rounded taste, but it's got all the essentials like garlic, spring onions,...

Het is echter achteraan dat we the right stuff vinden.

Visited this place with some friends a few days ago. The food wasn't too bad and service was good as well. I was at the counter paying for my meals when I saw some weird looking meat decked up at the kitchen. I had asked a staff what it was an she mentioned it was duck meat. Coming from an asian country that sells duck meat together with other roasted meat (like pork), those clearly didnt look like them. To clear my doubt, I had asked a friend to verify as well and to our shock those seemed like dog meant apparent from the muzzle of small dogs. I know its illegal to sell dog meat in Brussels, but if its in fact true then I hope something would be done to save such dogs' lives. Please do not eat dog meat just because there are some unverified medicinal properties and furthermore we are not in cavemen times. Please eat at your own risk especially if you are ordering...

It is a sad day when the best thing in your order is the beer you’re served. The duvel was a good start of our long weekend in Brussels. Our tradition of visiting authentic Chinese restaurants in the cities we visit brought us to this place. Eating the dumplings we quickly were disappointed, hoping the main dish would be better. Sadly this only got worse with the duck and noodles. Dry, lacking care and real flavor. Eating the food feels like the cook lost the enjoyment in their work. I feel sorry for the Chinese in Brussels that this is the “best Chinese food in town”…

Great Chinese restaurant with truly authentic dishes such as pig legs, pig ears, Peking duck and more conventional dishes. The menu offers also some nice vegetarian options. A great choice if you're looking for Chinese cuisine. I have been a couple of times and I noticed that the quality of the service can sometimes depend on who will serve you, though it's not too bad. I'm happy to recommend the place for the food.

I can say this restuarant is the best Chinese food, which I ever tried when I stay in Brussel. The fried rice noodle with pork is authentic smell and taste. you can taste the fried wok!!! It is nice and real chinese style. Especially, the atmosphere is like in Chinese restuarant, e.g. big table, a bit warm welcome atmosphere, do not forget about noisy enviroment.... ;)
