Unfortunately, I don't have anything positive to share. As a coffee shop in the city center, this place should be quick, easy to pass by to grab a coffee and or to stay for a pleasant amount of time. We sat outside, but you need to order and pre-pay inside. My friend went to get her coffee inside and it took her 10 to 15 minutes in line, even if there were only three people waiting and three staff members working. After she got her coffee and came back, I went inside and after waiting way to long (there was noone else waiting before me) I ordered a cappuccino and a piece of cake at 16:52. I got the piece of cake immediately and was told to wait 5 minutes and that my cappuccino would come. My cappuccino never came and when I went inside to ask for it they had already cleaned the coffee machine and were preparing for closing. They said they couldn't make me a cappuccino now and offered that part of my money back but eventually improvised an iced coffee. This was was a nice effort which I accepted because I really needed a coffee, but it was still really bad. The waitress who had taken my order pretended she didn't heard what I said and didn't express any apologies. In the end, none of the experience was pleasant, and I lost 8€ which is equivalent to about 2 hours of pay in my home country... Please do better. Hope this is constructive and that you can make your...
Read moreWorst experience I've ever had. I walk into the cafe, and there is a very drunk man out on the sidewalk, barely able to stand. I stand in line and wait for my turn to order. At this time the man loudly enters the cafe, cursing and stumbling about. I try to get the attention of the barista, she's nervously singing along to the Beatles, and the guy makes it up to the bar where I'm standing. The Barista tells him to leave, and he offers her 'port' while spilling it on the previous customers chocolate cake. I just wait for the owners to clear him out of there and stay out of the drama. Wham! That smelly, dirty wine filled hand smacks me across the face. He hits me hard enough to make my eyes water. The owner sees this, the Barista sees this, and the two girls in line in front of me see this. No one does anything. I feel that this is inexcusable. Sure, it's hard to contain a drunk, we all know this. But to not offer any kind of sorry or even a modicum of regret for the incidence? No. This place needs a management change, and employee training to keep...
Read moremy sister and i both got the raspberry matcha latte and mine was very good, but her’s was not. she said it wasn’t stirred at all and was full of lumps of matcha. the things were, however, that the girl at the counter was super rude. we spoke french, because we live in belgium and speak french very often, even though english is our first language. usually people are able to understand us because we have very good accents but this girl was not having it. she was snarky about our pronunciation and when my sister said “le même pour moi” the girl was like “lemon what??” obviously we were not talking about lemon anything and she could have easily understood. we tried to keep speaking french but she wasn’t having it. we’re the ones speaking our second language bc we’re in a place where we speak french. she could at least be kind if she preferred to speak in english. on top of this, our drinks were minuscule; like dixie cups with no lids. and each was NINE EURO??? hello??? we could have gotten twice or thrice that for a lower price at another...
