The food was beautifully presented but unfortunately, the flavors didn’t quite live up to the visuals. Everything tasted fairly average, lacking the depth and punch you'd typically expect from Vietnamese cuisine. Portion sizes were also on the smaller side, which might not be ideal if you're arriving with a big appetite. What really soured the experience, though, was the service toward the end of the night. The kitchen closed without any notice or last call, so when we tried to order a burger to finish off the meal, we were told it was no longer possible. A heads-up would’ve gone a long way in preventing that disappointment. Overall, it's a decent place if you're just looking for a quiet meal with pretty plating, but don't expect standout flavors.

It's difficult to find a restaurant that offers new flavours and dinning experience in Brussels, a city with an abundance of restaurants all crowded next to one another. However NYYO delievered a novel experience and a flavour combination that is just outstanding. From drinks to cold and warm dishes, you can tell that every dish was crafted with care, attention to flavours, and presentation. The chef definitely has an artistic eye! I enjoyed the ambience, the gentle service, and the dishes that arrived one after the other -- giving us time to savour each flavor. It truly is a fine dining experience worth repeating. Thank you for putting so much care and making our evening one to remember 💝✨💕

Great New Asian resto in my hood. Loved the modern & light take on Vietnam food. It fits well with a whole new wave of Asian resto’s in Brussels ( Check out my other reviews) The food menu is varied and novel. The only downer was quite a few fish bones in the ceviche. All the other dishes went from good to great. The beef tartare and pork belly are outstanding. The service was friendly and enthusiastic, young & dynamic. 4 star overall as we had to wait long between dishes , the choice of drinks , both wine by the glass and non alcoholic , hot & cold beverages as well as the dessers options are limited and not very interesting . I hope this will be further developed and I will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at NYYÓ, and I can't help but gush about the fantastic experience I had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional dining adventure. The menu is a delightful exploration of taste, and each dish is a harmonious symphony of flavors that surprises and delights the palate. We especially enjoyed the okra and eggplant and the drinks were unique and delicious. The service at NYYÓ is top-notch. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. They truly go the extra mile to make you feel at home. NYYÓ has not only managed to capture the essence of Vietnamese cuisine but also inject it with a fresh and exciting twist. This restaurant is a testament to the creativity and passion of its culinary team. I left NYYÓ feeling satisfied, inspired, and eager to return. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience that pushes the boundaries of flavor, NYYÓ is the place to be. Don't miss out on this hidden gem; it's a culinary adventure you won't forget. Thank you, NYYÓ, for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of your...

There should be a warning that only one dish is served at a time - we spent over two hours waiting for our various dishes. While the first one did come relatively quickly, it was tartare, which I do not eat, so only my partner enjoyed the dish and I did not actually get any food until the second dish was served, over an hour after we had ordered. The remaining two dishes came about 30 minutes before closing time, so we could not fully enjoy them or order more. The cherry on top was the rice on the side, which arrived only at the end, after we had gotten all the dishes! The unique cocktails have no outstanding flavor and sometimes use basic alcohols, yet when we asked for a classic cocktail knowing the ingredients are available we were told no. No apology from the staff throughout the whole time. Shame because the food itself...

We ate at Nyýo after walking past it numerous times….& we’re excited! But, the excitement was short lived. It’s shocking to me people are giving this place above 3*. Firstly- the positives? The staff were lovely & attentive- I couldn’t fault them.

The negatives? The food is presented artistically & you’re excited when it arrives. But that’s where it ends. The over-priced small plate dining experience is shocking at 15-17€ for each plate. The food flavours & textures were unpalatable- tofu dip with ocra…. Overly fishy cerviche with bland BLAND white sauce.

I’m a fan of raw fish & cerviche…. But when you’re holding your nose just to finish the meal…. Something is wrong! 🤮

My recommendation? Avoid avoid avoid! Bad food that is beautifully presented is...
