Wow, simply WOW! Walked by thinking it looked really fancy so walked in with my girlfriend. First surprise the relatively surprising prices for such a pretty place (cheaper than most) second surprise, the taste! We bought one baguette and two little pizza type breads, one topped with oignon and poppy seeds, the other with beetroot, feta and thyme and I have rarely been so enthusiastic about bread! Itâs simply the best Iâve had in a LONG time! The staff was also great and took the time to explain the benefits of long process sourdough bread and the decomposition of gluten as my girlfriend is intolerant⊠All in all a GREAT experience and we will soon be back to discover other great things they...
Read moreThe service is friendly however it is not a usual 'drop-in' bakery as you will need to order your bread etc. at least 1 day in advance, then it probably works very well. There remain a few pastries on display to buy, for the rest the shelves are empty in the afternoon. As they only take orders on site and not through phone or e-mail, it looks like they want to remain a local neighbourhood bakery (for now) for customers who have the time to walk by at least 2 days per week, one day to place the order and the other day to retrieve it? Of course, there are probably customers who have this time, it would not work for me...
