You know the drill - 10BZ gets you 2 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, rice and beans and a plantain. Nothing out of the usual there, other than it taking place on Caye Caulker amid ridiculous prices, being accompanied by the service of genuine and friendly people, and also being probably the best (if not, then definitely no.2 to la officina in san ignacio) rice and beans I've had in Belize.

Melt in your mouth chicken. The 5 star reviews are not just a product of small statistical sample size - this place really is that good.

This is hands down the best lunch spot for beans and rice on the island. The food is very cheap, but the quality is not lacking. While on the island I came here a total of three times for lunch and would highly recommend at least one stop here. The food is local and so are the prices. I had come here on a recommendation from the owner of another restaurant on the island called Dee n d’s and that recommendation certainly did not disappoint. It's on the north side of street (as opposed to what Google says...South...close enough just look for a take out like windows with a sun shade). Hands down the best stew chicken I had in all of Caye Caulker after 5days of sampling the island offerings. Catering to locals, I think, so extremely fair price and large portions. You can get a small portion for $5Bze but just get the large for $8Bze and support the local shop...plus you'll be licking the gravy from take out container anyway....yes...
