For a deluctable meal, look no further. I read positive things about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a shot. We have nothing but great things to say about this place, the employees, ambience and of course the food. We arrived about 45 minutes before opening and there was already about 20 people ahead of us. The anticipation was killing us. I live plantains and since it was one of the items on the menu, I couldn't wait to see and taste this particular dish! To our surprise the 3 course meal even included a drink. There were two options, so we had one each and they both had nice flavours. The starter: Platano Relleno (stuffed plantain), was amazing. My mother makes an El Salvador version called Empanadas de Platano and I absolutely love them. She doesn't need to know that this dish was exquisite!!! The Main: Mondongo (pork), was delicious. It was accompanied by other goodies to which I have no recollection of the names or compositions, but I can tell you that it was eaten pretty quick. Dessert: Bueñuelo, was pretty good as well. It was like a donut, with ice cream and other dried fruits along with a marmelade. The server explained each dish, but I just couldn't wait for everything to get in my belly 😋 The servers were fabulous, very attentive and efficient. This restaurant is a super great value for your money. I highly recommend and only wish I had found this sooner, so we could have one more meal there.

The perfect mix of textures. balance of unique flavors, range of temperatures, table-side sauce-drizzeled presentations, exotic, fresh, and healthy ingredients -- verbal descriptions cannot adequately explain thus culinary experience. Let me put it this way: I've been hanging out with 20 Foodies for two weeks and I haven't bothered to review any place because we're just too busy eating and recovering. If you read my reviews then you know I reserve 5-stars for true excellence. This place is 10-stars. Definitely the best restaurant I ate at in Bolivia and we went to some top-notch places. It's cool because it's super busy and really active and crowded and you can see into the kitchen where 20 people are running wild in an organized fashion, and the food is delectable and the presentation amazing. Comparable to a five star Michelin restaurant. And our server was awesome: I accidentally dropped six US $100 bills on the floor and he just picked it up and gave it to me, even though I didn't notice for a long time. Needless to say I gave him a huge tip.

Don't miss a visit to this fabulous spot. Wonderful food and excellent service. Just like a mini food tour. We arrived late (they only serve between 12:30 and 14:30) and the hostess explained that some dishes may have run out. But this was not a problem; the 'russian salad' starter we both had was a delicate tart with well-balanced flavours, my chicken wings were messy and yummy (not first date food!), my husband’s quinoa dish was bright and delicious, and the only pudding they had left, pear cooked in a local spirit, with lemon cream and plantain crisps, would not have been my first choice, but so glad I had the choice made for me! And as for value for money, this is gourmet food at a snip. We'd have gone back every day if we'd found it sooner.

Outstanding meal and great value too! Only open at lunch and only accommodates about 50 people a day, so be sure to arrive about 30-40mins before opening time to be one of them! Foodie visitors to La Paz do not want to miss this! Three course menu with three choices each for starter and main, and two for desert. Veggies (like me) have one option each for 1st and 2nd courses but both were delicious! Price includes bread and a choice of two homemade juices. The flavours, presentation and service were fantastic. I've eaten in some fancy places and the food here is up with the best, BUT at only 79bs per head, an absolute bargain. I still can't quite believe it! Ps great coffee downstairs too at Cafe con Pan. Thanks!

Entrance is a little hidden - you have to walk into a common courtyard and then up the stairs. No reservations. You put your name on the list and the time estimates was pretty accurate. Food was a set menu of 3 courses for 79BS (Nov 2023). The presentation and flavour were fine dining level in a very casual cafe style setting. Every dish was great and a sizeable portion. Favourite would be the bread with dips and chicken! The restaurant had a good buzz and great to see the kitchen staff preparing the dishes. Very efficiently run. All staff were friendly and spoke English. Highly recommended and it’s worth the 30-60 min wait. NB. Only open for lunch. Cash Only

One the best gourmet experiences in the city, this place has a way to express local cuisine in ways that cannot be found in alternative establishments, food is truly great, the meny varies from time to time so you should visit often, you're more than likely to be pleasantly surprised each and every time — also, you won't spend much, the prices are not prohibitive for the quality on display here. It's also worth mentioning that the restaurant is located on the historic city centre, relatively small location but comfortable and amenable. The staff is also kind and attentive.
