I vitiated cafe Pende March 9th 2025 12:30 pm. There were several issues with the place, that is why I put low marks. First of all the waiting line is about 20 min. Second of all my waiting time for food was about one hour, however they served tables which came way later first. Drinks were served after 40min, when only after I told them.

I ordered Salmon Benedict and egg Benedict was served as a boiled egg. When I returned plate back, no one said sorry, they just told me that I will get a new plate.

After 30 min more at 1:40pm I got a new plate. It was ok.

Waitress brought me extra drinks as excuses, however I refused it, since coffee was to sour. Waitress wasn’t really polite that I refused it. I am a big coffee lover, so that coffee wasn’t great. I don’t recommend Italian coffee there.

My girlfriend and I visited Pepo Cafe for brunch. The service was acceptable, but the wait for our food was longer than expected, and it arrived at staggered times, which was inconvenient. Therefore, I'd rate the service 3 stars.

The atmosphere didn't quite match our expectations; we ended up with an uncomfortable table on the street, earning it 2 stars.

In terms of food, it was decent but not exceptional. The pastries stole the show, far outshining the lackluster eggs and cold bread. The coffees were standard fare, nothing particularly memorable. For the food quality, I'd give it 4 stars.

Mix feelings : Disapponting coffee, cappuccino from the house came full of sugar. As don't drink coffee with sugar it was a big disappointment. I couldn't taste the cinnamon only that sickenning taste of sugary chocolate. It wasnt well balanced. The expresso was ok but again not the best, very strong/acidic. Baguettes were nice and the butter was a pleasant touch the crystal salt on the top, Cornish/Normandy/French style. Excellent service, efficient and courteous staff. A nice ambiance, spacious and clean. Ar conditioning available, discreet music in a pleasant volume, accessible toilette which was in pristine condition. A trendy quiet clientele.
