I recently visited Paparoto Cucina and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the ambiance is pleasant at first glance, the decor feels forced, with an overuse of fake flowers and plants that detracts from the modern look they’re trying to achieve.
The food, however, was the real letdown. I ordered the tagliolini, which was overcooked to the point of having a gummy consistency, and the sauce was far too acidic to enjoy. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected much better. Additionally, the wine list is significantly overpriced, which only added to the frustration.
Service was attentive, perhaps too much so—it felt overwhelming at times. While I appreciate good service, it crossed into being intrusive rather than helpful.
Overall, Papparotto Cucina is simply not worth the high price tag. There are far better dining options available, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food or a...
Read moreToday I visited Paparoto, and concluded that there are far better places to have a meal for the same price. Upon arrival we were directed to a table that was under strong winds of the very cold air conditioning system. We politely asked the waiter to adjust it, but the waiter was very unsympathetic and indifferent. Even after asking three times, we were still feeling extremely cold, which severely impacted the experience. The waiter was always very rude, sometimes not even acknowledging our requests, looking down on us. After we ordered, our dishes took 55 minutes to be delivered (we had to complain 3 times to receive our dishes), with mild temperature. I believe other restaurants have better service and tastier food. The ambient is nice though, clean and...
Read moreWe went to Paparoto due a good reputation from the TV show that the owner had participated. During the week days there is a self service buffet of antipasto and one protein included (chicken or fish). We decided to order a plate from the menu to have the experience of the chef, it was frustrating. We have ordered the 'Milanesa' breaded filet mignon accomplished with gnocchi, it was just good enough, not worthy of the type and standard of the restaurant. The ambience is quite good except the tunnel that connects the ambiences and the poor acoustic isolation that reverberate sound that's excessively noisy. The service was the best part, it...
