Lovely Japanese bento with the best clean tasting tea I’ve had here in São Paulo. We had the katsu and menchi katsu and honestly the method of frying here is amazing! The katsu was less fatty that I’d like but the menchi katsu was sublime and juicy. Would recommend the menchi katsu over the katsu. A Japanese deli right in the heart of a calm Villa in Paraiso. Sozai offers a wide variety of authentic ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook meals from futomaki and bento box to cooked buta no kakuni and cheese corn korokke. The staff is so kind and speaks Japanese. Encontramos esse restaurante através do Google Maps e tivemos uma grata surpresa! O local é super fofo, limpo e bem organizado, com um clima que nos fez sentir à vontade desde o início.

O atendimento foi nota 1000: todas foram super cordiais e educadas, sempre com um sorriso.

Experimentamos o Toriteridon, o Anchova Bento, o chá verde e uma porção de Tori Kara Age. Todos os pratos estavam super gostosos, bem temperados, bonitos.

Mesmo com muitos pratos fritos, não percebemos cheiro algum de fritura no ambiente — tudo estava impecável, sem fumaça.

Sempre lembro de um tio que dizia: "A higiene do banheiro também diz muito sobre a limpeza dos outros ambientes". No Sōzai Japanese Deli, o banheiro estava super limpinho e ainda tinha bons produtos, o que só reforçou a impressão de cuidado e zelo do lugar.

Outra coisa que curtimos foi que a pessoa que estava preparando a comida estava de máscara. Esse é um hábito que deveria ter sido herdado da pandemia para todos os estabelecimentos...
