Tigan Pancakes/ Палачинкарница Тиган — Restaurant in Plovdiv

Went there twice. Both times more than happy. For starters, the frappe is amazing and perfectly rounds up the fresh and well made pancakes. Both times we were there the girl behind the counter was kind without being overbearing and gave the whole establishment a really comfortable atmosphere. With such affordable prices and big portions this is great if you want to brunch on a budget! If you want it for a snack in between, it's probably best to share.

If you grab pancakes here, maybe walk left, next to the mosque. There are some stairs which are perfect for sitting down and enjoying your pancakes in peace, without anyone looking at you disgracefully while you cover yourself in chocolate ;)

Picture 1: a blueberry jam pancake and a salmon, Philadelphia pancake with carps. Both very tasty and the chef did not hold back on the salmon which is much appreciated! Picture 2: dark chocolate, strawberries and whipped cream....

Probably some of the worst service I’ve come across. Only one person works here and there is no way more than a couple orders can be taken at once. The pancakes themselves were incredibly tasteless and there is too much on them, which just makes them unpleasant to eat. The coffee (especially the Frappe) was the worst I’ve had in Bulgaria and there was no cash change so everybody paid more than necessary. Very negative experience and just a sure way to ruin your breakfast. Also the waitress has a shirt that just said “F* off/you/etc” on her back which just seems incredibly inappropriate and offensive, given that it matches the attitude we received. Lastly, the worker didn’t know english (or was pretending not to), so I had to translate for my group of friends, even though it’s in the absolute...

These aren't your typical pancakes y'all. This is like a crepe and a pancake made a delicious food baby. Here i have the cheesecake one and my goodness was it delicious. Even got to try there special. I forgot the name but it was this chocolate mix I thought it was going to be super chocolaty but no. It hit the sweet tooth perfectly. The place accepts card and also contact less payment. That was a good addition. The staff were super friendly and the freddo coffee we tried was perfect 👌.
