Terrible attitude
Walked pass at 7:50pm and attracted by the shop, wanted to try so we walked in and ask for menu
2 guys came after us are seated before us. Waiter pass menu to the 2 guys instead of us and turn to us tell us sold off by a âstopâ hand signal, didnât even bother to talk. We try to get another menu held in another waiterâs hand and he refuse to give it to us.
We patiently ask why we canât look at the menu and also why the other 2 guys get seated while we are not served at all. Another lady came to explain everything is finished.
Due to language barrier we still failed to understand why another 2 guys get served while we donât. Anyways, the way we were treated was awful. Understand on the English / khmer (me) proficiency may not be there but while I tried my best to communicate, they treated us with impatient and disgusted look.
Hope the owner see this, as this is far from the well known friendly Khmer treatment we got from...
Read moreThe restaurant is a hidden gem in the area, offering both Khmer and Vietnamese noodle soup. I haven't tried their famous minced pork noodle just yet, but I like their rice noodle with the crab meat. It does not taste like a real Bun Rieu of Vietnamese dishes, but it is a flavorful creation of Cambodian noodle soup and the bun rieu version. The price is acceptable, but I feel like the amount is not balanced from time to time. Their crab meat with egg contains lots of egg and then the crab meat itself. They also had the tamarind juice drink, which also tasted fairly good. They said their meatball is homemade, and to me it's fairly good as well. The price per bowl is $3 or 12000 riels. The environment is okay; hygiene was fine, but staff hygiene is not good sometimes. The service is...
Read moreI've only been to this restaurant twice, but I've always gotten what I wanted. It's quite famous in Phnom Penh, and for good reason. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the service is fast. The portions are large, so you're sure to leave feeling full. The prices are reasonable, and the only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult. There is a small lot on the corner, but it's often full, so you may have to park on the street. But even with the parking issue, I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food...
