TUBE COFFEE Riverside — Restaurant in Khan Daun Penh

The only good thing about this place is the view. My friend suggested going to this café because of the view, and yes the view is great but there is so many inconveniences that make this place so not worth visiting.

First of all, the staff were very slow in taking orders and making the drinks. Additionally, the receipt number announcements were too quiet compared to the noisy environment, so we could barely hear which number they were calling out to collect the drinks.

On that note, there were so many customers with low spatial awareness who had their phones volumes on max while watching videos and calling. Extremely noisy.

Moreover, there’s also a lot of squatters who were taking over tables that were meant for larger groups of people despite being only 1 or 2. They were there to play video games and were extremely rude when asked for an empty chair. Staff should do better in distributing the tables!

Lastly, there are so many trash left by previous guests. Where are the cleaners?! Or at least, the guests should be told to throw those away on their own when leaving, considering that it’s supposed to be a low budget café.

Overall, this is another case of a great location ruined by absolute zero people...

Friendly staff. The drink menu is delicious and well made. I enjoyed a mocha frappè at the first floor. Amazing view of the Mekong river. Unfortunately the pastries are disappointing and not meeting the drink quality - I bought 4 small ones. They tasted old, hard and the dough look wasn't risen. I wanted to leave a review with their survey system but it was only in Cambodian. The history of Cambodia printed to the wall is in Cambodian only too. It's a bit unfortunate for the curious tourists who want to learn more about the city. I recommend to have in English too.
