Went wandering around Canmore with a hangry wife and 2 hangry kids. Couldnt agree on a spot so finally decided to try this little shop around the corner from the main downtown strip.
They bake their own focaccia and use it for their pizza and sandwiches and also sell the focaccia whole to take. I gotta tell you, this focaccia is killer! It’s not that dense heavy bread that passes as focaccia, it’s light, airy, just oily enough and seasoned beautifully! Nice salty, crunchy crust yet soft inside! I wish I bought a couple cause it was all gone before we got back to Calgary. The pizza was nicely topped and tasty. The burger, also on a homemade bun was a NICE sized patty and was smothered in gravy, I know, how can that not be good! It was really good!
They don’t have a fryer, which I like cause fries are everywhere, but I would like to see some sort of side option for the burger beyond pringles. Even a small pile of greens with a simple vinaigrette would suffice.
Overall, if your in Canmore I would give this place a visit and do yourself a favour and get a couple loafs of focaccia for the ride...
Read moreI came to Canmore after a long hike down the street. It was my last day in the area so I was looking for the highest rated place for dinner in the area. Being from Chicago, I saw they had pizza on the menu and I had to try it out. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
The focaccia bread as the crust was amazing. I had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of meatlovers. Sometimes, Chicago pizza can be overwhelming because of how thick it is. The pizza here was a perfect balance of homemade bread, sauce, meat and cheese.
The prices were very reasonable. Under $20 Canadian for a full dinner with high quality ingredients is pretty hard to come by, especially in a “touristy” area like this.
The service staff was so nice, and they definitely made me feel like more than just another customer. They even gave me a free taste of gelato at the end of my meal!
The outdoor dining atmosphere is so nice. I had a perfect view of the 3 sisters while I ate my pizza. It was serene, and I will definitely be coming back next time I come to the...

I thoroughly enjoyed it as it was not watery or too strong - it had a nice balance. Free whipped topping as well. I ordered the half sized eggceptional breakfast sandwich. It was good. Perhaps slightly underwhelming based on what I was expecting. All ingredients were good, not great. The bread was very good. I was expecting a taste explosion would find my mouth, but no such experience came. I will definitely return to try the hot and cold deli sandwiches and the pizza. This is another place I never visited in my last residence in Canmore. I am glad I tried it this time around. update. Pizza is solid. Middle tier. Love the cheddar/mozzarella cheese combination. The meats are of high quality. The downfall of the pizza is definitely the dough and crust. A very mediocre offering that if it were better prepared would possibly place this pizza in...
