Gave it a 3* overall but to be quite honest would have lowered it to prob a 2. I was excited to hear a new burger joint opened up and looking at their menu was exhilarating, but there's a BUT. No issues with the service or atmosphere, new joint new employees and no hate towards the employees. Relatively speedy service at the register, waiting for the food is like your typical restaurant wait, foods made from scratch hence on the wait time. Honestly I hate pink and inside it's all pink and it hurts my head but from a design pov really well done, 5 for that. Now when it comes down to the food and price, that's where my stars dropped. For 2 people our bill came to 55$ and change, which includes 2 burgers (stampede and the toaster) side of fries and onion rings and 2 monkey shakes. The price is ridiculous for the mediocre food, mainly the burgers and shake. First of all I'd like to say that the toaster (which I was most excited about) was a disappointment. The grilled cheese buns need to be revamped because the inside of the grilled cheese buns were dry and the cheese didn't melt properly where it's gooey and already, it was just dry. Then the patties were just not right, needed to be cooked a bit more and to not put pepper on it or reduce the amount cause all I tasted was the pepper overpowering the beef. I can understand its flavour but the pepper just hits you without enjoying the beauty of the meat. That being said it ruined my expectations for the rest of the burger. I'd say it's just mediocre/edible/ok but there's no wow factor. And then there's the shakes, we got the chunky monkey ones and was excited cause I LOVE ferrero rocher and thought this would be the taste of the chocolate with a hint of banana but what I got was vanilla ice cream with a big hint of fake banana flavouring for some weird reason and barely any or no taste of the ferrero rocher. I was disappointed that it was just bland. Maybe add Nutella to give it some boost of flavor. But overall improvement on the menu a bit would probably justify the price and again the aesthetics and design and atmosphere were a 4/5*. Still a chill place to go...
Read moreI was thoroughly impressed by Bussin Burgers on Calgary’s vibrant 17th Avenue. From the moment you step inside, the casual yet modern atmosphere sets the stage for a truly memorable experience.
Let’s talk about the star of the show—the burgers. Each patty is hand-crafted and cooked to perfection, with a beautifully juicy interior and a crispy exterior that adds just the right amount of texture. The signature Bussin Burger, with its melty cheese, fresh lettuce, and tangy sauce, is a standout. The balance of flavors is spot on; nothing overpowers the other ingredients, and each bite feels like a symphony of perfectly paired components.
The fries, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, are an ideal companion to the burgers. I highly recommend pairing them with one of their house-made dipping sauces for a truly indulgent experience.
What sets Bussin Burgers apart, though, is the attention to detail in everything they do, from the quality of the ingredients to the friendly and efficient service. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it reflects in the food. The prices are reasonable for the quality you receive, making it a great value for those craving a top-tier burger.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, Bussin Burgers is a must-try. It’s a gem in Calgary’s bustling culinary scene, and it’s safe to say I’ll be back again soon. Highly recommended for anyone who takes their...

I've been a regular here for the past two years, and not once have I noticed a dip in the quality of food or customer service. That consistency is rare and worth appreciating. The food is always top-notch—my personal favorites from the menu are the Bussin Burger and the It’s Bussin shake.
What really sets Bussin apart is the ambience and the exceptional service. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when it comes to suggestions. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know some of the amazing team members like Manpreet, who’s an absolute sweetheart. She even remembers my regular order, which is one of those thoughtful touches that make this place feel so personal. Shoutout also to Sanya, Zhenya and the rest who’ve always been friendly and attentive.
As a fun bonus, they also offer a “Buy something, get a free shake” deal on your birthday—which is such a nice gesture!
If you're looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and staff who make you feel at home, I’d definitely recommend giving...
