CHACHI'S — Restaurant in Calgary

Chachi’s has always been my go to stop before starting my work. I have always been fond of the food and service provided by the staff and never had a bad experience. But this week, maybe there is some new staff or something because never seen them before they provided extremely bad customer service. I had ordered vedge sandwich but when I saw it , the girl working there gave me beef moreover she don’t have any customer communication skills and even after giving me wrong order she wasn’t apologetic for that. And for the sake of that wrong order I had to wait more than usual waiting time and ran late for my work and my day didn’t felt Good after that. It seemed like she is new and don’t know anything. Previous staff was amazing and always provided great customer service.

We had an unexpected visit to the mall and got hungry and decided to try out their sandwiches.

I had the Hot Philly which came with a generous portion of beef, melted provolone, grilled onions and peppers, garlic aioli and spicy mayo sauces. The bun was nicely warmed up and each bite was super flavourful.

My wife continued her holiday themed choices and picked the Holiday Turkey which was turkey breast, stuffing, cranberry chutney, gravy, herb mayo, apple and arugula. She really enjoyed the warm flavours mixed together.

The SLOWEST service in the food court. I went there on my lunch break today since there was no line and now I know why, the girl making the sandwiches was incredibly slow. I understand it is more of an "artisanal" sandwich shop versus say subway, but while I was waiting on the side for my food I saw her writing something with the sauce onto my sandwich, maybe her name? Regardless it is ridiculous for a sandwich to take that long to make and being on only a half hour lunch I appreciate when those working in the food court show a bit of hustle, she looked like she was daydreaming. Glad I didn't tip or I would have asked...
