I visited this lounge in the fall, but my experience remains clear in my memory. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the music is great—perfect for dancing and enjoying time with friends. The shisha flavors were pretty good as well, and the overall vibe was definitely on point.
However, the experience was let down by the service and food. Despite it being a slow night, some of the staff was inattentive and not very welcoming. We weren’t there for long because we had to move tables to make room for another group. The server rushed us, insisting that we pay before relocating, which felt odd. That interaction put a damper on the night, and I no longer felt like staying.
When I went to pay, the ATM upstairs wasn’t working, and their card machines were also down. In today’s world, most people don’t carry over $200 in cash. They did have another ATM downstairs, but since everyone was facing the same issue, there was a line. Strangely, our server was impatient and kept checking if we had the money, despite knowing the payment situation. The way she handled it made the situation uncomfortable.
We had ordered multiple shishas, food, and drinks, so the bill was a few hundred dollars. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing—lacking flavor and definitely not worth the price. If they improve their service and food quality, this place could easily be a top place again. Unfortunately, didn’t get the chance to take a picture of our drinks or food. But the drinks...
Read moreWould not recommend this place its pretty much a glorified Sheeha bar. Couple of us decided to go their from edmonton this past long weekend. We pre booked a table and three bottles. We're all club promoters and event organizers in edmonton so we have extensive knowledge on how a bar or club should be run. When we got there we expected to have a short wait and be escorted to our booth quickly. But that was the complete opposite of what happened. Not only was there a line to enter but the reservation line was longer then the general admission one lol. We couldn't believe it. The Security was extremely aggressive and completely unorganized. We even spoke to the employee that we booked the table with and he simply told us there was nothing he could do. Keep in mind we drove all the way from edmonton on a Sunday just to go to this place on the expectation that we had everything set up and ready to go. But it seems that they over book all the booth and when you book your not guaranteed anything. After an hour of waiting in a line that never moved because Security was too busy letting their own people in and after we were told that our table was gone we decided to leave. Ended up at the palace theater where we managed to recover and had a incredible night. Will never go back there or recommend to...
Read morePhenomenal Experience - Ask for Marissa!
My visit to Fire and Ice was nothing short of amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible server, Marissa. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel like VIPs. Her energy, professionalism, and genuine warmth turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience.
Marissa was not only attentive but also went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered fantastic recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she had the perfect balance of being attentive without ever feeling intrusive.
Of course, the food and atmosphere at Fire and Ice were top-tier-the flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly executed. But what truly set this visit apart was the service. Marissa's kindness, enthusiasm, and dedication to making guests feel special are rare to find.
If you're planning to dine here, do yourself a favor and ask for Marissa. She turns a great meal into an exceptional experience.
10/10 - Can't wait...
