First time at Keith's Deli, was excited from reading the numerous positive reviews. Turned into a disappointing experience. Ordered 2 sandwiches for me and roommate - reuben and pastrami, we were still hungry afterwards. Bread was decent but could get similar at a grocery store. Meat was virtually nonexistent, reubens bring to mind a mount of meat but this was not that, 1 single thin slice of meat surrounded by bread and sauerkraut 5 or 6 times its thickness. Same thing with the pastrami sandwich, 1 thin slice of meat. All for $17 plus tip. Was not expecting a pile of meat but come on - barely can taste it being hidden by the bread and sauerkraut. Should have read the negative reviews and justifications on bread ratios and 2.5 oz of meat before making the drive
Biggest issue: the guy behind the counter, assuming is the owner, was not wearing a mask in the food prep area and during the preparation of food - complaint lodged with Alberta Health Services
Would not repeat or recommend.

Read moreWow, what happened to Keith's Deli? I used to go there two or three times a week during the 1990s when I worked nearby. I haven't gone since, until about a month ago. I wouldn't have ordered it several times per week in the past if it was like that. I also ordered a piece of carrot cake. When I removed the plastic wrap, and tried to hold it in my hand, the entire thing crumbled into tiny pieces, and that's no exaggeration. Not sure who prepared the batter on that, but they failed big time. I would never return to Keith's Deli after this experience. A...

Directly across from Chinook mall, lots of parking. The shop itself is dated looking, everything looks like it's stuck in 1980. That's part of the ambience of the place with old collectibles laying around to give it some flare. Place has been around for longer than I've been alive which tells you they make quality food. The only issue I have with the place is that asking for personal preference things like extra sauce is hit and miss and sandwiches without large or double meat are pretty small on the servings.
All in all,...
