Toa Vietnamese Cuisine — Restaurant in Calgary

Tasty food - rude service. I walked in the front door 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time for take out. I smiled and said " Hi there, I'm here for a skip the dishes order, but I'm really early - so I'll just wait, no rush! " The lady at the front said ok and went in the back - she re-emerged with a man who said " YOU ARE EARLY, TOO EARLY, THE ORDER ISN'T READY". I told him the same thing I had already told the first person and said not to worry I wasn't in any sort of rush. The place was empty so I'm not sure why 3 salad rolls was going to take them an hour to make anyhow . Anyways I was scolded once again when I went to leave, " Next time look at the pickup time". Have been to this restaurant twice. Both times service was atrocious. First time was at lunch with no reservation. They got us in then ignored us for 10+ minutes before bringing water or taking our order. Food was decent, but took a long time to arrive. Considered walking out due to service delays honestly.

Second time we went we had a lunch reservation, were promptly seated, given menus then ignored for 10+ minutes. After seeing another customer get seated, brought a menu and water, and had their order taken before us, we decided to walk out. Not sitting for 15 minutes just to get our order in.

Improve the service. Don't leave customers waiting to clear empty tables. Take their order first, then do the maintenance stuff. There is more than 1 server working there so I am not sure why each doesn't have their own section and take...

Let me begin with saying how good their food is. No doubt one of the better viet places I have tried. But their service is crap. Last time I ordered a meal came with spring roll. I dont eat pork and when I found out it contained pork..I asked if they could switch it to veg ones. The waitress literally yelled at me infront of everybody..."You should have known its pork and have told me earlier...we cant change it for you...you either eat this or ill remove it off your plate." It was harsh and embarassing...she could have been polite about it. I didnt know it was pork at the time of the order and it doesnt mention in the menu either. Anyway I was quiet disappointed with...
