I've been going to White Spot restaurants since 1959. This particular Triple O has consistently served the best burgers in town. It had a nostalgic decor reminiscent of the time that Nat Bailey started the business, old photos of the car hops and restaurants. ...and of course, a photo of the legendary Nat himself in honour of the founder. It used to play songs of the fifties and had that "old diner" atmosphere. Well, I am sorry to say that has been wiped out completely. Inside it looks like a corner in a food court in some mall. All references to the chain's historical origins have been removed entirely. The seat backs in the booths have been cut down to half of what they were, so there is no element of privacy. The place is grey, stark white and green. It's a shame that whoever concluded that this was the way to go decided that the roots of the "legendary" White Spot had no value in this day and age. Well I should remind them that the baby boomers are a significant demographic element in today's society and you've thumbed your nose at...
Read moreI absolutely love Triple O's and White Spot burgers. However, the service at this location is a joke. I ordered a poutine as a side but, they said the gravy was no good so we got the garlic parm fries instead, which are cheaper. Since we already paid, I asked for a small coke zero since we didn't get the poutine. No word of a lie, the worker said "I gave you garlic parm fries"... I pointed out to her that the poutine was over double the price. She went on to lie to me and said they were the same price while standing in front of the menu that said otherwise.
The level of stupidity of that person is out of this world. I understand those workers don't make a lot of money but, lying to a customer is probably a dumb...
Read moreI came into this fine establishment a couple days ago with quite a unpleasant attitude, I had just heard of the passing of my most precious dog who was hit by a car in a hit and run accident. When I approached the counter I opened with a incredibly snarky attitude. Subsequently, I was indeed trying to start a fight with the cashier. Luckily, the attendant, named Jordan greeted me with a very precious and heartwarming smile. His kind heartwarming attitude brightened up my day, his swift and prompt assistance in my order of my burger and fries is truly among the best I've ever seen. Jordan's great attitude moved me to ask my son to help leave a review!
Will be coming...
