McDonald's — Restaurant in Edmonton

This was one of the messiest locations I've been to in quite some time, the staff was extremely rude beginning with my entrance, we were not greeted and taken our order with any sight of of a smile really not wanting me to be there, I ordered a big Mac combo with a large drink, and a 1/4 pound combo as well as a jr. Chicken. I asked the manager for a mc chicken sauce 2 of them as there were 2 of us and I paid for 2 combos. She refused. Making me not want to be there again. I then continued to fill my drink as I was going to dine in, I only filled my drink half way and didn't take a straw or lid until after I leave. I go eat, fries were good and salted well, The sandwich was sloppily put together however it was fair, even for sitting on their counter for approximately 4 min waiting for fries. When I went to bite into the jr. Chicken it was hard, patty was old and I did not want to receive another, however I mentioned this to an employee they ignored me. As I was leaving they decided to turn off the coca cola machine and the manager told me there were no refills, I pointed at the sign on top of the machine that says refills, she stated that this was their "new policy" I haven't heard about this in any location. I truly believe they purposely turned off the machine to possibly get a reaction out of me to which they did. The bathroom had a foul odour, none of it was clean no toilet paper counter messy I didn't even want to wash my hands there. Judging by the level of customer traffic and employees working, they had sufficient people to ensure that cleanliness can be held to a higher standard. I want to go back and take a photo of the refill sign, but I did not feel welcome in this restaurant so I refuse to go back. None of the chairs were clean almost every table had grease stains and crumbs so finding was skeptical. I do wish to go back and take photos, a busy location such as this one should not be turning customers away for minor things like a mayo packet and filling a cup with sprite.

So I decided to go back and take a photo, as my McDonald's cup which I bought in the drive thru and purposely dumped it out then went in to refill confirming my suspicions that they turned off the machine when I specifically poured out the drink and went in to refill it. I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THE MANAGER TURNED OFF THE COCA COLA MACHINE. I AM IN THE PROCCESS OF NOTIFYING COCA COLA AS WELL AS LEAVING MY EXPERIENCE IN A DETAILED REVIEW TO OFFICIALS SO THAT FRANCHISEES OF THIS LOCATION ARE Notified. Not like it matters they sound cheap and will be 100% going to laugh at this review and 0 action will take place. If any franchise area directors see this I hope they will...

Do not go to this location. The staff do not care at all about their customers feeling safe and comfortable. The men’s washroom had an individual shooting up so it was not able to be used. After informing the employees they said they would call the cops but never did, instead they looked at the guy in the washroom and did nothing. I was going to let this slide but then shortly after a different individual came over to our table and wanted to fight us outside because we allegedly called him a “skinner” which is completely not true, we had not said a word about this man and have no idea what a skinner is. Didn’t even know he was in the restaurant until he came over and aggressively slammed the side of our table. I felt incredibly scared and uncomfortable and the worst part is the staff just stood there and watched. I then picked up my order from the counter and further informed the staff that their paying customers are uncomfortable and scared, they said “yeah I know” quietly and didn’t acknowledge their mistakes at all. Was incredibly disappointed, I have never left a bad review before but this one was absolutely necessary to me to inform others of.

EDIT: I had originally left this review whilst being shaken by the incident that occurred at this location and I had not yet opened my bag of food to see what was inside. When I did I found my burgers were made entirely wrong. I am vegetarian and still enjoy hamburgers with no patty, I haven’t had many issues when ordering burgers with no patty but of course this location gave me all the burgers with patty’s on them, which was incredibly disappointing since I could no longer eat them. Good afternoon. I would like to have your attention regarding this McDonald's branch, where my son and I has a meal together. We were shocked by what we heard from one of your employees. My son, 15 years old, put and order using his cellphone (as always). The order had different items so we could get the deal. After paying we came to the counter, bill in hand, when a woman approached us and told us some tickets were necessary for the deal to take charge, but for some reason no one warned us about this in advance, regardless, this is not important. Afterwards we put on another order. We paid and sat down to eat. Two women came near the ordering device. The first was the one I ordered with, and the second seemingly a supervisor. I saw our previous bill in their hands and they were having a discussion about something. I thought some error might have occurred with the machine. Then, I kindly asked them if they needed our help to show them how the first order was made. Surprisingly, one of them (the supervisor) started treating in a very rude way. She told us she would call the police. My child got very scared, he does not speak English very well. We came from Ukraine só English is not our first language. I would like to put in a complain request to McDonald's, wishing they would take some action regarding this so called supervisor. I believe people like her should not work at places where most of their customers are minors. She is not normal.
