Beautiful products, beautiful place, horrible costumer service. The attitude of the people working there was like they were doing me a favour simply by existing. I walked in polite, with a smile on my face, ready to purchase some bread in an empty store and the 2 people working at the time, barely acknowledged me to begin with and continued the exchange in a rude manner. Last time I checked, the customer is the one who keeps you going, and pays for your bills so may continue your business. As a small business owner I go out of my way for my polite, good intentioned customers because I understand this. This type of attitude makes it very difficult to support local businesses. As far as I'm concerned, no matter how amazing your product or service, if you can't do the minimum of being polite and respectful to a polite and respectful costumer, you should close up shop altogether. This happened on Dec. 23rd 2022, in the...

I'm visiting my parents who live in Edmonton and who go to breadland every Saturday. See, I thought they were just being a classic 60+ year old couple who like their routine and refuse to do otherwise. But today, I go with my dad because he knows that the Saturday specials are something special. And he was right. We got a cinnamon roll, a raspberry custard tart thing, hotdog buns, and a cranberry walnut baguette. Well dang. I am amazed and would be so round and happy if I lived here. The baguette was still warm, and the cranberry-to-dough ratio was absolutely perfect; the cinnamon roll was chewy and sweet (but the sweetness didn't overwhelm the dough and the raisins); and the custard raspberry thingy had the best custard I have ever had in my life.

I don't know how else to praise Breadland, but it is an...

I ordered a banana spelt muffin and an americano for $9.29. The muffin: if the concept behind this creation was to capture the notion of a muffin but in a deconstructed oil-forward form in which the taste of banana is to be imparted entirely by the customer’s imagination, then they nailed it. The americano: embodies coffee-reused.

I do fundamentally want this bakery to succeed as it is the type of establishment the neighbourhood needs and I will give them another chance and order something else and post again; but, with what I have had, I am not sure they understand how important their prices must align with quality of their product or they will inevitably fail. Unfortunately the service cannot make...

This bakery has good croissants. The one I ordered was chocolate filled, and the baker offered to warm it up for me. Although the food is good, the dishes were not very clean as is shown in the image attached to this review. I unfortunately showed up in the afternoon after a lot of things were sold out so I haven't had a chance to see what comes fresh in the morning before it all sells out. First time coming, got a drink and snack. It was late afternoon, so I think most of the stuff was already sold out. The croissant was flaky and well balanced. The latte was good. Although I think of you a fan of sweeter latte, you may not like the latte here without extra sugar. The coffee flavour was nice however. Just the right amount of bitter for me. They also have oat milk as alternative for lactose intolerance.
