Cosmic Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Greater Strathcona

Picked up a donair pizza last night. When I got home the pizza had barely any meat, cheese, or onions on it. It was simply just donair sauce and bread basically. I called and asked if they could do anything about this. A refund or a new pizza and all they did for 10 minutes on the phone was argue with me and tell me they couldn’t do anything and it was fine the way it was. I sent pictures because they asked to see. The picture I’ll post below. They still continued to argue with me and tell me that this donair pizza was normal and there was nothing they could do. All other cosmic locations have always made good pizzas with solid toppings on it but take a look at the picture below. I’ve never experienced such a lack of customer service in my life. I feel completely ripped off and disgusted at how I was treated. The manager on the phone literally just stopped talking to me and handed the phone back to some random worker who had no say what so ever.. I never complain about anything but this was a terrible experience and I won’t be going back at all. Honestly, as a person who’s family has owned pizza restaurants, this is what bothers me most. The cost of goods to make a pizza like this is less than $3. The price I paid was $20. They are willing to loose a solid customer and a good experience all for loosing a mere $3. Talk about being cheap? You have it right here. The owner should be ashamed. If I wanted to I could contact the BBB or have health and safety come inspect the kitchen area as that also looked dirty....

I was disappointed about how I was treated when I came in recently to grab a donair as I had done it many times before. I wanted to pay in cash, the guy working (younger balding Indian guy who pretends to be nice) refused the payment. He grabbed the bill started flipping and he pulled other bills out of the registrar to compare it to( giving impression that I had given him fake money). He lied that he didn't have change (Even though I did clearly see in his registrar that he had change) Don't know why he immediately thought that of me. On top of be embarrassing, as their regular customer (which that guy knows very well), I could not believe I'd be treated like that or anybody else for that matter.

I was even more shocked when another customer walked in right after me. He paid in cash and that same worker did not hesitate to accept the payment and gave back some change with no issue.

I wish nothing but luck to you sir and your business. I hope you never ever treat anybody else the same way. Because if you do, I can guarantee you that there is no blessing in that. All you are doing is calling curse up...

I went here once and ordered a Donair paid for it and left empty-handed. I ordered a Donair and I was the only person in the place but they were taking a lot of pick up or take out calls and just kept making pizzas for other people. I stood there waiting and waiting and waiting. At no time did anyone of the 3? People working there make my Donair. I can't recall if I asked for fries with it, I usually get a jumbo with extra cheese and sauce. Looking at my debit transaction, it was $25.38, likely some tip there also. I stood there, and eventually, I waited so long I just walked out the door. This is the worst donair place in edmonton, do not go here, literally burned $25.38, think of how angry I was and how long I waited watching these three people keep making other people's food long after I the only person there in person paid for my food which never came that I then just walked out the door and gave up. Imagine how long I waited that I just walked out the door, having already paid. I went down to Mike's and got a Donair there. Cosmic pizza and...
