I recently had the pleasure of dining at Twist Bar and Lounge, and I must say it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment I stepped in until the time I left, the restaurant impressed me with its exceptional food and top-notch service.

Let's start with the star of the show: the food. The menu at Twist Bar and Lounge offers a diverse range of culinary delights, and every dish I tried was a true masterpiece. The flavors were expertly crafted, and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. Whether you're a fan of seafood, meat, even the shanghai nights, or vegetarian options, this restaurant has something to satisfy every palate. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes—the flavors are truly unique and will leave you wanting more.

The service at Twist Bar and Lounge is nothing short of exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They provided excellent recommendations and were more than happy to accommodate any special requests. The waitstaff ensured that I had everything I needed throughout the evening, making me feel like a valued guest. The level of professionalism and attention to detail truly elevated my dining experience.

The ambiance at Twist Bar and Lounge is another aspect worth mentioning. The restaurant boasts a modern and chic interior that exudes a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. The lighting and decor create a comfortable and stylish setting, perfect for a memorable evening out. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a place to unwind, Twist Bar and Lounge offers the ideal ambiance for any occasion.

Lastly, I must commend the overall value for money provided by Twist Bar and Lounge. Despite the high-quality food and impeccable service, the prices were reasonable and commensurate with the experience. Dining here felt like a luxurious treat without breaking the bank, making it accessible to a wide range of diners. Twist Bar and Lounge exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The exceptional food, outstanding service, inviting ambiance, and great value for money make it a standout choice for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to Twist Bar and Lounge. You won't be...

I went to Twist of India in Halifax, Nova Scotia for dinner — and honestly, what an incredible evening it turned out to be!

The service was amazing. The owner personally came to check how everything was, which felt so genuine and welcoming. Our server, Shivam, was absolutely fantastic - soft-spoken, attentive, and to our surprise, also a brilliant mixologist. The Cosmopolitan he made was so good we had to order a second round. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and refreshing.

We ordered the Schezwan noodles, Paneer Manchurian, tandoori momos, a Cosmopolitan, and for dessert, Gulab Jamun with ice cream and Jamun Pista Kulfi. The food was absolutely delicious — very spicy but so worth it. I couldn’t stop eating even though it was fiery hot. The noodles and the Paneer Manchurian had that exact Indo-Chinese flavour you’d expect to find at a good spot back in India. It brought back so many memories with every bite.

I found the tandoori momos to be just okay!, not quite aligned with my palate, but not unpleasant either. Just not my personal favourite.

The desserts were ‘Out of this world’. The Gulab Jamun was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had — warm, soft, and just melting in your mouth. The rose petal garnish on top was such a beautiful touch. The Jamun Pista Kulfi was creamy, flavourful, and just the right amount of sweet - a lovely finish to the meal.

The vibe of the restaurant was lovely- warm lighting, great music, and a relaxed atmosphere that made the whole experience even better.

If you’re craving real, flavourful Indian food in Halifax, Twist of India is an absolute must-visit. From the food to the people, everything felt just right. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Will definitely return…!!x Twist of India, you’ve won...

I recently dined here and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food at this restaurant deserves four stars without a doubt. The flavors were exquisite, and I thoroughly enjoyed the dishes I ordered. The chef's culinary skills are commendable, and the menu offerings were diverse and appealing.

Service: ⭐⭐⭐ While the food was exceptional, I must admit that the service left a bit to be desired. I would rate it three stars. The staff appeared to be quite busy due to a private party happening simultaneously, which unfortunately led to some delays in receiving our food. However, they did their best under the circumstances.

Atmosphere: ⭐ This is where my experience took a significant hit. I can only give one star for atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a booming speaker overhead. When we requested that the volume be lowered, we were informed that there was a private party outside, and they were in control of the music. This unexpected and excessively loud environment made it challenging to enjoy our meal and have a conversation.

I strongly suggest that the management consider informing diners in advance if there's a private event occurring that might affect the overall dining experience. This transparency would help avoid disappointment and ensure that everyone has an enjoyable time.

In summary, this restaurant has excellent food, and with some improvements in communication and service during special events, it could provide an even more enjoyable...

I recently visited The Twist of India Restaurant Bar in the heart of Halifax, and while I had high expectations, my overall experience was mixed. Starting with the positives, the service was excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and the staff, particularly our waiter, was polite and always had a friendly smile, which made our dining experience pleasant. Their hospitality was definitely a highlight of the visit. However, the food, unfortunately, did not live up to the standard I had hoped for. I ordered the dragon chicken with butter and garlic naan, but the gravy was overly salty. I requested the dish to be made less salty, and while the adjustment helped, the dish still lacked the authentic flavor that I expected from dragon chicken. It felt like the true taste was missing. I also tried the chilly paneer, which had an average taste and didn’t stand out compared to other Indian restaurants I’ve visited. For dessert, I decided to try the jamun pista kulfi, which was an interesting and unique variety. It was probably the best part of the meal and added a nice touch to the otherwise mediocre food experience. One minor inconvenience was the parking. It’s quite tough to find a spot directly in front of the restaurant, but there’s a paid parking option in a nearby building, which worked for us. Overall, while the service was great, the food left much to be desired.

I recently visited this place, and to be honest, I found it a bit expensive. One garlic naan cost me $7, which usually costs around $3 elsewhere. I also paid $55, and for that much money, the quantity was really not worth it — way too little. Another issue I had was with the seating arrangement. The entire place was empty, yet when we asked for a separate table, they told us to sit next to a group of loud boys. If you're coming from Brampton, you're probably not going to like it!! Thank you for your response. I’d like to clarify a few things: First, regarding the seating — we actually asked to sit elsewhere, but your staff said no. So to say you offered me a choice isn't true. It’s okay if there was a misunderstanding, but please don’t misrepresent the situation. As for the prices, I understand every place has its own pricing, and I did recently move to Halifax. But even with that in mind, I still found your prices high for what was offered. Lastly, about the quantity — I know others may have different opinions, and that's fine. But my review is based on my personal experience, and in my opinion, the portion size didn’t match the price. I’m sharing my honest feedback, and I hope it’s taken constructively.
