I love cocos and have been to multiple locations as I move around alot. I'll always stop at a cocos if I see one in the city!!! I used to give this place a 5 stars!!! Which is why I feel so sad to write this...however I haven't had a good experience with this particular location in a long while. I don't know why but each time I come to this location now they are so slow to give me my order despite the no clear visible line. It is a bit ridiculous to wait 15-20 mins for 2 drinks...right? It couldn't be because of online orders because there was only one more ahead of me. They seem a little disorganized lately as well because the other day, they didn't give me a receipt and the cashier didn't seem to know what she was doing and she was alone? She couldn't make my drink either because apparently she couldn't make the drinks yet so why was she left alone at the front for so long? It increased my waiting time bc i had to wait for an employee who knew how to make the drinks to come out from the back. I saw another customer had an issue but the girl (which I assume was the supervisor) looked like she had no idea how to handle the situation. I wasn't even greeted when I came in as the cashier didn't acknowledge me until i said something. Which is sad because I love when I go to Cocos and they greet me. It's part of the experience. When i left, i did say bye but i had no response from the cashier either đ My tapioca have been a bit undercooked and clumpy a few times now...I guess I should've stuck with my usual topping coconut jelly or pudding. The tea tasted strange too! It didn't taste like how it usually does. I got my usual roasted Milk Tea with brown sugar pearls. I'm so sad because this location is the OG bbt I've ever had. I'd rather drive the extra 10 mins for the location at Mac. Maybe if I come back in a few months, customer service and quality will go back to...
Read moreI have been a long time fan of Coco bbt. Staff are usually nice and courteous but my encounter with my gf this night was just awful. The cashier on this location Stephanie was quite inconsiderate. We ordered 5 bbtâs and forgot one order. After paying, we remembered about the order we forgot. We waited until she finished with the customer behind us and asked her if we can add just another order and she blatantly said NO and we have to line up AGAIN. At this point, the store became so busy. We asked her and pointed out the fact that the line up was so long and we literally just ordered and in fact, she still hadnât given us our receipt. There was no budging. As we waited in line, she called up our number and we didnât hear the first time, she came to our proximity and asked âare you gonna pick this up or not?!â We asked if we can leave it on the counter since weâre in line to order again and she just rolled her eyes and gave an attitude. I have NEVER ever encountered someone like this. Our 10-15 bbt run became 45 minutes! If we werenât ordering for my parents, we wouldnât have bothered with this location....
Read moreCoco's has amazing bubble teas and a wide range of flavours that most bobba places around do not have. I would have to say their original milk tea is quite similar to the traditional Taiwanese style milk tea. They have a vicinity points system (acquire 10 points and you get a free bubble tea) and you have the option to choose your sugar and ice level. You can also still tap your card to collect points on the tablet behind the front tablet that asks for you phone number. One of the issues I have is that there is only one register and it can get very busy and packed. Another problem is that sometimes your drinks are made and sitting somewhere and they won't place it on the pick up counter until the previous orders are made and called upon. I think this is one of the factors why it can sometimes be a miss - in terms of your drink not being sweet enough, no ice, cashier got your order wrong, etc. I'm hoping one day they partner up with a food delivery app where customers can place their orders ahead of time for pick up or...
