Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Hamilton

Hi we were at the Mcmaster Children's hospital and drove in our car to your Restaurant on Monday May 20, 2024. We were really upset as we had quite a few issues with the food. First of all there were no Hawaiian doughnuts or no other choice speciality ones.Everything was really picked over. The Ice coffee i had was not done right. We ordered some wraps and they were not hot or tasted apropiate for some reason. We were take out as we were going back to the hospital for our Granddaughter. I tried to call your Telephone number listed and it was out service, as i wanted to let the manager know today. I asked for the receipt as i paid by credit card. There was no survey on it for me to let you know about the service. Not that i usually fill out . I WILL not recommend this Establishment and i was very surprised and embaressed about how things went as we were bringing the food back to the parents with their sick child there at hospital. I am also a Tim Hortons card member. I hope that this message gets back to Manager. We would have gone to the Mcdonalds next door if we had...

Power door operator for the handicap doesn’t work. Staff told me that it’s been broken for a long time. This is completely unacceptable and a violation against building code and all Ontario mobility access statutes. The owner of this location probably just doesn’t want to schedule a service call to get it repaired. I had to help 2 people in and out while I waited for my coffee order as I’m fully able bodied.

I work in commercial construction and service companies that deal with these doors can respond next day.

So here’s the deal franchise owner. It’s Wednesday June 24 2025. I’m travelling through here Monday! If it’s not fixed I’m calling a few of Hamilton City Building inspectors to file my complaint and I know they respond to all complaints. They issue fines and they issue orders. I deal with them daily in my line of work. You have until Monday June 30 2025 to comply with Ontario Regulations that protect those with mobility issues. I might even include a call to the ministry of health....

Worst experience… Hamilton is a beautyful city and we admire it while visiting it from Brampton. But sharing this time experience, If I could post without giving this one star, i would give zero to this one. Washrooms are filthy and even has loose locks. I entered the women’s washroom to use it, someone opened it from outside and the biggest safety issue is that I did locked the door after entering it and still someone was able to open it from outside. When I informed the staff who only commented “ I will look in to it”. How someone will feel if they see someone is about to enter the space where you are suppose to be alone while using it. Adding more our order was coffee and a loaded bowl having rice in it which were not even cooked and we could feel the crunch if uncooked rice. When we mentioned that to staff they offered refund. Saying that refund was relief but this location has made us believe that Tim hortons have lost the standard of service...
