Not happy with the service of food on last order. 12 years of ordering Bai tong to be dismissed and not called back as told by kitty he would. 6 days later nothing. Called him on Aug 31 regarding my order on Aug 30 just before closing. Called and placed delivery order at 8:15pm. 45 min before closing. Ordered pad Thai our favourite to be disappointed that it was one big overcooked blob all stuck together and prawns were overcooked and even the peanuts were dark. And it was cold even though it arrived 45 min after ordering. Our 2nd dish #18 I always order extra saucy told by the person taking the order no problem. Arrived cold hardly any sauce and little barely there sauce was so dark and thick I had to add water and put in a saucepan to reheat. I called kitty the next day Aug 31 to let him know as they had already closed the night before. He took my info hummed and hawed putting me on a brief hold to say I talked to my cook he said he made it right. No… he did not make it right. Do you believe the customer Kitty?? You then took my number and said you’d call me back. Six days later nothing. No callback. I’ve tried many Thai restaurants including two fabulous ones in West Kelowna. In fact I have rave reviews about them online. We always loved Kittys Bai Tong as we live on the Kelowna side but if this is how you treat a dedicated customer of 12 years. Blow them off like I’m lying for a free meal. I do NOT appreciate. So that is why I am going on here to review as I’m very disappointed with not being respected and validated as a concern. I guess I’ll Have to find a new Thai restaurant on this side of the bridge. I sure wish I took a picture of #18 but was too busy putting in a saucepan to reheat and add water to barely any there dark almost black sauce. Not sure if it’s a certain chef or because it’s the last 45 min of their shift and they just don’t give it TLC?? For 50 dollars for 2 dishes for 2 ppl. I’m not impressed or happy with...

We placed an order for delivery over the phone, gave our payment info, and awaited delivery. 20 minutes later, a man called us back saying our payment method didn’t go through. It was visa debit. We then provided a secondary form of payment to which we were told it wouldn’t process. The man argued about having made all the food and not having payment. We were in a hotel, with sleeping children, unable to leave to get cash from an ATM in order to pay cash upon delivery. We apologized, and said we have to cancel the order and place one elsewhere, if our payment wasn’t accepted. The man still argued with my husband! We said please cancel, we attempted to make payment with all available means possible, had even suggested to attempt to process the customer’s payment before preparing their order in the future. We then placed an order from a different restaurant. Bah Tong Thai arrived with the original order, and a debit machine, HAVING NEVER MENTIONED THE ABILITY TO DO SO PRIOR! We thought it was the order we’d placed after the bah tong Thai order was canceled, so we paid and took the food. We are VERY upset they delivered an order they said was unable to be paid for which caused us to cancel it, was still delivered AFTER cancellation. We obviously had to pay for the secondary order we placed. Having to pay for two meals when we should only have had to pay for ONE, is ridiculous. Also, we’d asked if the dishes came with rice. We were told no, so we placed an order for a dish of rice. Come to find out, rice did come with the dishes, so we received 3 orders of rice. Unreal, the entire experience from start to finish. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bai Tong Authentic Thai Cuisine for inthink the 3rd time, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an exceptional meal.

The true star of Bai Tong is the owner, Kitty. His passion for authentic Thai flavors is evident in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. The consistency in the quality and taste of the food is remarkable. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, you can always count on a delightful culinary experience. The Tom Yum Soup was a perfect balance of spicy and sour, and the Pad Thai was the best I've ever had, with perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, savory sauce.

Adding to the wonderful experience was our server, Kim. She was simply amazing – attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Kim's recommendations were spot on, and her genuine enthusiasm for the food made our meal even more enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel like valued guests.
