Would give 0 star if I could. Shop looks fancy but their bubble tea is definitely a nightmare, I feel bad for people who tried bubble tea for the first time at this store, I can tell you it is definitely NOT what it supposed to taste like.

First of all, when we were ordering, they told us they ran out of pearls (or boba, whatever you call it) and needed to wait 30 mins. That was around 2-3pm, which bubble tea shop would just run out of pearls during this kind of hour? Not to mention almost half of their menu offers pearls in the drink instead of an add-on. So we were forced to wait 30 mins for the drinks only for the pearls. PLUS, before we decided what to order, all the staffs working that time were doing nothing and they ONLY REALIZED they ran out of pearls once we ordered and started to cook on the spot.

Second, the taste of the drinks were horrible, like, I needed something else to wash out the taste. We ordered 6 drinks in total and 4 of them were so bad, not even we weren't able to finish them, we decided to go inside, told them those drinks taste horrible, left the drinks on the table without even asking for a refund or re-do (they also DID NOT offer those options)

Last thing, remember the 30 mins pearls we had to wait for? They were tasteless. Anyone who tried bubble tea with pearls at least once knows that the pearls supposed to at least taste sweet. But not ours. They were flavourless gummy balls. So when we returned the drinks, we asked them about the pearls and they confirmed they did not cook it with sugar, just hard boiled with water and served. Trust me, you do not want to know what that tastes like, on top of the already bad drinks.

The photos look good, the shop looks good and it had good ratings from years ago so I'd only imagine it had a switch of ownership during the time, no way this shop would get anything above 1 star (again, 0 star if I could) or even survive at all.

Please avoid at all costs, I'm not sure what they're selling but it's definitely...

I was extremely disappointed in the experience of dining and ordering cakes. I strongly don't recommend Mr. This store of Lu and olake.

The boss's wife treats guests differently, and her attitude is very different. In the face of foreign guests, the service was fast and enthusiastic. When I saw that they were about to order food, I immediately ran over and greeted them with a smile. But for us students, they pretended not to see them. They called at the front desk and ignored them at all. They shouted several times before they came lazily. The whole process is very uncomfortable. I feel that spending here is being looked down upon.

The cake shop is also ridiculously bad. I ordered the cake in advance. The message was sent countless times. The boss's reply was extremely perfunctory. In the end, it was not even clear whether the order was successful. On the day of picking up the cake, the finished product was completely different from the one ordered, and the quality was far inferior to the advertised picture. My feedback problem is still that I can't return it, and my attitude is extremely perfunctory.

What's more outrageous is that I order takeaway in the same situation. Takeaway delivery often times out, and I have no sense of responsibility at all. If it weren't for this Sichuan restaurant, I don't think anyone would come to this restaurant.

Overall feeling: If you are a Canadian, you may enjoy the so-called "quality service"; but if you are a student or a retailer, don't expect much. Here, we only care about good-looking guests, ignore others, and have no professional ethics.

It is strongly recommended that everyone avoid lightning. This kind of restaurant that looks at people's dishes is really not worth...

I went here with my boyfriend yesterday (Tuesday Aug 27th). The woman at the front was kind but there was a bit of a language barrier. We were looking forward to eating our Basque Cheesecake but unfortunately it was curdled (overcooked) which was very disappointing, so it didn't get finished. We didn't complain due to the language barrier. I got a brown sugar milk tea with oat milk, which was good and got made half sweet as I requested, but unfortunately the pearls were overcooked, as well resulting in them being larger and mushy. We got everything for here and my drink still came in plastic, and unfortunately all of their food displayed is pre packaged which resulted in us having to remove the cake and put it on a plate ourselves, and makes the display look less appealing when plastic is reflecting against light. My boyfriend loved his pineapple pork bun and black tea, but we were overall disappointed by our visit. I hope that things can be improved, and I would visit in the future...

Super cute inside had a whole Japanese theme to it yet the have regular coffees for people who aren't into the whole bubble tea pearls, although they do have a wide variety of selections for bubble teas and smoothies they also have pastries that are on display and cute little seats and benches that you can sit at it's very cozy they also have little accessories and ornaments you can purchase. They also serve a brunch menu and they serve it from Thursday to Sunday 9:00 to 3:00. There was only one staff member working there but she was very quick at making my drink in the photos I'll show the drink I got it was the green tea matcha latte and it was delicious, definitely something I would return back to they show that they have cakes on the windows so I'm assuming that they make cakes although I did not ask the worker there. They do make their pastries fresh in the store and customer service was very friendly and polite.
