I was passing through Kelowna recently and dropped in to Pulp Fiction Coffee because I read that they served 49th Parallel coffee. I found the staff very friendly. This is where the good part ends. I like 49th Parallel coffee so this is why I chose Pulp Fiction. My wife got a to-go Pulp Fiction roasted coffee and I got an Americano 49th. I wanted to buy some 49th roasted beans to go but found the $24.00/ib price way too expensive. I buy green beans and roast my own coffee so I know that green beans cost from $5.00 to $8.00 per lb to buy. I am used to paying upto $19.00 per lb for roasted coffee and that seems expensive to me.

After we left the shop I tried my coffee and it was surprisingly weak and not at all what I am used to for an americano. I tried my wife's coffee and it was so over roasted it just left that acrid burnt-toast taste in my mouth that I so often find at places like Starbucks. This was a very disappointing experience for me.

When we arrived in William's Lake we got coffee at the Gecko Tree coffee shop and I got a 49th Parallel americano and bought a pound of roasted 49th. The americano was great and full bodied like I am used to and the beans cost $16.50. I have no Idea what Pulp Fiction is doing gouging people for the price of the coffee and I will not...

Pulp Fiction Café is an absolute gem! 😍 From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. ☕️ The coffee here is simply outstanding – rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed. Every sip feels like a little slice of heaven. ☕️✨

The menu is a delightful mix of classic and innovative choices, offering something for every taste bud. The avocado toast 🥑 is a must-try, topped with fresh ingredients that explode with flavor. The pastries are divine, with the croissants 🥐 being light, flaky, and utterly delicious.

beyond to ensure that every customer feels valued and taken care of. Their knowledge and passion for coffee are evident, and they are always happy to recommend the perfect drink or pastry to satisfy your cravings.

The café itself has a charming and eclectic vibe, with cozy seating areas that invite you to relax and enjoy your beverage. It's the perfect spot for catching up with friends or indulging in some "me" time.

Overall, Pulp Fiction Café is a hidden treasure in the city. A five-star experience from start to finish. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delightful menu. Highly...

The only reason someone could justify their ridiculous prices is because of the general aesthetic and atmosphere of this coffee shop. I got a 16oz chai and a small (very VERY bland) pastry and it cost me 23$ !!!! That’s crazy and I’m sorry but the food wasn’t good. I got a breakfast wrap and I had to dunk it into ketchup to give it any flavour whatsoever and it was so small too. I’m sorry but these 2 items for 23$ is actually ludicrous. I will not be returning not that that really matters as they have a lot of customers. But if you are not in a great financial position don’t come here! There are much better places that are a lot cheaper like blenz coffee, tackle box, etc. all within a 3 or less minute drive.

Response: Please fact check correctly considering I have the receipt for this order which included a breakfast wrap and 16oz chai that totalled $23 after tax. It was two items. Although I’m not on a strict budget, it’s important for me to attend places that’ll provide quality for the price which unfortunately this establishment did not. And quite frankly your response bitter which has given me even more reason...

A Hidden Gem for Coffee and Book Lovers Alike! Pulp Fiction Coffee House is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by shelves of vintage books, giving the place a cozy, literary vibe that sets it apart from any other café in town. The coffee is strong and smooth (the Americano is excellent), and they have a nice selection of teas and pastries too. What really makes this place special is the atmosphere — it’s quiet enough to read or work, but full of character. The staff are friendly, the music is chill, and there’s always something interesting to browse through while you sip your drink. Whether you're here to catch up on reading, get some work done, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee in a unique setting, Pulp Fiction delivers. Highly recommend for anyone who loves caffeine, culture, and a little bit of old-school charm.

I stumbled upon Pulp Fiction while awaiting a flight back to Toronto. I came in for the coffee, but left with more than just caffeine in my cup. The owner Max made my experience beyond a basic service interaction. He approached me at the magnets.. helping me pick out 6 (I lack self restraint). He informed me that he uses his own inventory to get the magnets printed! I later ventured into the print section of the coffee shop, and HAD to buy a print. Finally, he took me to the Pulp section of the shop, I mentioned my Sister had a love of horror. He took the time to pick something out for her personally while I drank my coffee. I will never forget the kindness and knowledge of my new friend, and kindred spirit, Max Squared.

Service: great. Coffee: delicious. Food: flavourful. Barista was welcoming, ensured our coffees we exactly what we wanted from the size of my cappuccino to how much foam I would like. We ordered a medium cappuccino, an iced americano, 2 sausage rolls and a rocky road square. Our total was $20.16. The barista commented how that was soooo 4 years ago (hilarious!). Sausage rolls were delivered to our table. The meat was so flavourful and the flaky pastry just melted in my mouth. They have seats inside and outside. There is a hand sanitizer at the front door and the barista will kindly ask you to use it if she’s notices you haven’t. Great spot to lounge and sip coffee or grab and go.
