We are in the middle of our 5 week seafood trip through Maine, NB, NS and PEI and needed a break so we risked trying a Spanish Tapas restaurant in the seafood town of Lunenburg and we are glad we did. The place is so cozy, decorated with antiques that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Spain. The food delicious, we had the deviled eggs with anchovies, so good we wound up getting a total of 3 orders of 2 eggs each! It was the best decision we could’ve made. Not only was it the best food we had whilst in Lunenberg, but also the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely and intimate. This is the only place in Lunenberg which should have queues outside their door. We had the eggplant caviar, the calamari salad, goat cheese and red pepper bruschetta, and the potato salad, all of which were SENSATIONAL. Read moreGreat change of pace from seafood shacks and other classic east coast fare. It's busy but we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table on a Friday evening. We enjoyed everything we ate. It's an efficient little place - no kitchen (we assume everything is prepped at one of this restaurant group's larger establishments) and runs expertly with just four great staff members. Six dishes were just right for us for a light dinner.
