We had the best food that we had in Nova Scotia at this particular restaurant. And we just found it when we were walking down one of the main streets in Lunenburg. He serves five courses, and you have choices for four out of the five courses. The food was innovative and beautifully presented, but it was also quite delicious. My husband absolutely raved about the wild mushroom tacos, I think he could have had three plates of those if he had been allowed to do so. I loved the broccoli tempura that was the first course. Perfectly cooked, with a wonderful flavor and lovely little accompaniments on the plate. My favorite dish was my main course, which was pan-seared headache with ginger butter on a bed of black rice. Everything about this dish was delicious. They have very nice cocktails, and I ended up getting the rhubarb spritz just because it was a hot day. But actually was a lovely cocktail. My husband had a whiskey-based one that he also said was quite tasty. They also have a lot of nice wines by the glass.

This is a small restaurant, it's beautifully appointed, the tables are well spaced from each other, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're...

If you venture off the main street, Montague, and walk up the hill a few blocks to Lincoln Street, you’ll find a truly great dining experience. Every meal we ate in Lunenberg was great, but LSF was truly our favorite. We even returned a few nights after for a second round. The flavors and ingredients are fresh, the menu changing often, and the service unbeatable. Miso forced oysters were a nightly special and just fantastic but the chef, Paolo, was also preparing foraged mushrooms, seared cod, pickled peppers. We went with a group of six and ordered many plates to share. It was a memorable evening and I...

Good tasting, creatively presented food. Paolo uses locally foraged ingredients (such as Knotweed for ginger ice cream or pickles; herbs of dried wild sweet peas from the beach) paired with local produce and wine to create a fresh twist on maritime fish and sea-food staples. A beef-eater and a vegetarian will always be happy, too. This summer the vegetable Tempura, scallops and beef gnocchi have been a real treat! Take the $45 prix-fix and enjoy an nice amuse-bouche and all three courses plus a delicious...

The staff was really great and super accommodating as they were able to give us a table last minute on a busy night which we really appreciated! We really like the fixe menu concept that they have going on. We went for the Mexican pop up, but honestly we thought the food was pretty bland and everything just needed some more flavour especially considering the cuisine for the pop up. The drink special they had was great and we really appreciated that everything tasted fresh and locally sourced, but the food was just subpar.

We had a wonderful dinner at Lincoln Street Food. Everything we ordered was amazing. We had awesome drinks with spirits from the local microdistillery. The staff was very friendly and we even had recommendations from the chef for other food destinations on our trip in Nova Scotia. This restaurant is a must-go in Lunenberg. Top quality food and service, for a relatively affordable price.

Great food and good service. Totally unexpected and a great change from all the local maritime seafoods we had on our trip. Early sitting saw us with the place to ourselves. The bouillabaisse was full of flavours and tender seafood. Great use of other foods from the sea and unique pairings for the sides and salads. Would come often if we lived in the area.
