Are at this restaurant on July 28th! It was a chilly day, the said they were full inside and we would have to sit on the patio! Later to know they had tables that could accommodate the group (7) As cold as it was we decided to try the restaurant out because of all the reviews we read, being so cold and being water front you’d think it would be safe to assume they would have out door heaters or more indoor options.
With that being said, we started off not enjoying it as much as we’d hope and everything continued to get worse from there. After 15 minutes of waiting to be created by our server, she came and asked if we were ready to order of dinners. She was unprepared, no more pen or pad to take down orders... as she returns she asked if we wanted appetizers, we ordered the muscles for the table, (dropped in boiled salt water and served with melted butter on the side) with it being so cold by the time she brought the order to the table the muscles were chilled and the butter beginning to re-solidify. They brought our alone, no throw bowl for shells nor utensils or napkins. We later on had our orders taken, and those as well on arrival everything came out cold, she blamed the cold food on it being busy... which would be understandable if you visually could see how busy it was. On the patio two couples and one other family of (4) she was only serving our table and the couple across from us. So we requested for our food to be sent back, because all of the plates were to cold to enjoy...
Once the food did return half an hour later.. everyone was so dissatisfied with the experience they wanted to go. And she said “sorry nothing I can do the kitchen staff is busy, the foods here now enjoy!” We began picking at our food, and everything was just lacking flavour...
With all that being said, service was bad! And the food was not worth the price because it lacked flavour as well as portion for price!

Read moreLobster & crab dip - 14.99$ - not the right consistency of a dip. Was very runny. Seasoning was very light. Almost non-existent. Torillas were passable at best. Not worth 15$. But it wasn't terrible.
Fish and chips 12.99 w/ extra fish 3.99 - fish was over cooked and extremely oily. Was sat on top of the bed of fries so there were half a dozen fries that we're good to eat. The rest were soggy and a mess.
Mussels 11.99 - had a mix up and wrong plate was brought to us so the sat for a time and were brought out cold. We sent the plate back reluctantly and were presented with an extremely warm inviting plate of mussels! They were warm but overcooked. The water must have not been seasoned and left them tasting very bland even with the helping of garlic butter! They were supposed to be cooked in a white wine vinegar but taste as if they were cooked in a drum of recycled toilet water. As well as a vast majority of the mussels had large rocks in them which means they were prepared incorrectly from the get go.
To end, I will not come back but the staff were wonderful and extremely friendly and understanding. Our server Sydney (I believe is how she spelt it) was spectacular and even took the mussels off the bill due to the poor quality. We appreciate her kindness greatly. The kitchen definitely needs to work on their abilites in cooking seafood considering it's a seafood restaurant. Extremely disappointed in this visit.
To add: ended up being sick due to the condition and quality of the food. So very unfortunate end to what was supposed to...
Read moreFirst of all, let me start by saying that the outside patio was dog friendly, so my fur-baby was welcomed while we dined. Thank you to all the staff that made her feel at home. Second, the food was incredible. I'm not kidding. We started with the mussels that were cooked in a garlic sauce that I swear I couldn't leave on the plate. Divine! The Calamari Frito Miso was definitely the best I've ever had. Bravo to the creators of that appetizer. The Cajun Shrimp tacos were topped with fresh jalapeno, and an extremely tasty chipotle cream sauce that set the bar high. Very high. Also my wife ordered the fish and chips, and I can tell you that this will NOT disappoint you in the slightest. Beautiful fresh haddock in a crispy golden batter was offered on her plate, and she thoroughly enjoyed every bite. If you've made it this far, I'd like to also tell you about how the clouds opened up and poured rain all over their patio, and all of the staff immediately came out to assist the other guests in rerouting to the inside. We wanted to stay out and wait for the rain to stop (heavy sun shower) because of the dog, and they rigged up a few umbrellas to keep our party of four extra dry, while they became soaking wet doing so. Right after they set it up, the sun came out, and it stopped raining. If that doesn't tell you what type of people will go the extra mile to please you, then I don't know what will. Thank you so much to everyone there. The chef's? Wow. Bravo, Old Fish...
