I like this location for convenience as I take the Go bus to work, however I know how busy it gets. Went in at 0824 to order an Espresso Frappuccino (with no crazy modifications) and ice water. I usually mobile order but was told that they turned off their mobile order service off due to being short staffed. If they were going to claim “short staff” then they should have had a sense of urgency because the employees were moving slower than molasses.
The barista prepping my drink had to blend it twice as he forgot to put the espresso shot in it, seemed confused with the requests of the drink (if asking for almond milk and to do only one pump of the syrup is difficult then to each their own), and kept looking for the whip cream when not only was it in front of him but the drink doesn’t come with whip cream nor did I request or was asked whether I wanted it.
I did not mean to be curt and short when I said out loud that “I don’t want whip cream” but it was already 0831 and my bus arrived and already finished offloading/loading passengers. He then took his sweet time looking at the lids to see which one would fit the cup.
This has to be one of the most frustrating experiences I had with this location. I now know to not do any in-store orders and strictly stick to...
Read moreI don’t know what had gotten into this location, but this used to be a really great place for commuters.
They used to have designated standing areas to those waiting for their ride or their bus to arrive. Now when you step inside if you don’t immediately place an order, you are instantly confronted by an employee asking if you are going to make a purchase. If not, see ya later! There seems to be someone whose entire job is just to kick those people out.
Yes, I understand you want to keep space for actual customers. But as a location who is in the centre of two bus terminals you should expect this to occur. Why does it matter if the location is empty? In fact, you are just driving customers out! Those who are waiting may decide to grab a coffee or a snack later on, but instead you prevent any sort of possibility for this to happen if you do this. Not to mention the fact that if I do have a mobile order and am waiting. I am quickly judged by the employee as if I didn’t already place one.
If there is space, have some human decency and help your potential customers who quite possibly are there everyday from the cold. If there’s not, no worries. At least talk to us in a non-confrontational...
Read moreThe most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever seen.
The store itself is not well designed. But having said that, this isn’t that big of an issue. The tables are scattered around and so are the chairs.
You walk into the bathroom hallway. You’re greeted by a view of about 5-7 scattered chairs in the corner. Then then there’s the bathroom doors that don’t close and so you have a constant leak of urine and feces smell seeping through the male and female bathroom doors that are cracked open a few inches.
The bathroom is designed to be a Soaking pool of urine. A mess that will make you vomit. I’ll suffice there.
This is the fourth time I’ve seen this mess in as many visits. And it’s always a disgusting place.
The barista says the reason for the constant mess is because it’s busy; as if an excuse is appropriate.
All in all, the customers there are filthy, and so are the employees who seem to be fine being in such a mess.
I tried to complain to the barrister that the bathroom is always filthy and should be cleaned. However, she seemed to be fixated as to “why” the bathroom is dirty given her repetitive responses of “it’s been busy”.
Advice: keep it clean, no one cares why or how...
