Went here for the first time the other day. I should've walked out when I saw the bored looks of the cook and cashier. But I wanted to give this place a try. Funny enough, I decided on the "Cheerful" steak sandwich.

Presentation was ridiculous. This thing looked liked they threw all the ingredients onto a hotdog bun. This wouldn't necessarily be an issue if they were busy and had to rush every order, but I was the only customer in the restaurant. A little effort in how they put my sandwich together would at least demonstrate they cared about their food.

As to the taste, the beef was overcooked, dry and rubbery, and unfortunately I got a lot of elastin (aka gristle) in my sandwich. Doubtful these were actual cuts of AAA rib eye from a butcher shop or reputable supplier. And they definitely didn't cut these themselves as any prep cook knows to get rid of the elastin, cartilage, ligaments, silverskin, etc. I'm guessing these were packaged strips of random cuts of beef. Either that or whoever cut these didn't care what they served.

The toppings were mostly lettuce, a handful of pickles, 2 pieces of tomatoes, a bit of melted cheddar, and a lot of their signature aioli. Barely had any of the other toppings listed, like mushrooms, bell peppers and jalapeños. Overall this sandwich was sub par, made even worse by the cost. Gladiator Burgers have amazing steak sandwiches, easily twice the size of this thing, and for 14 bucks. For better quality and good value, I suggest going there and avoiding this place.

Now I know I've only tried one item, but first impressions count and my experience was telling. I was expecting something substantial for a sandwich costing $17+tax and tip, but all I got was disappointment. And yes, I know some of their other offerings may be better, but looking at their prices, I know I'm not getting value for my money.

Sorry Top Gun.. y'all...

Where to start. apparently there is new mgmt now. They had the 5 dollar combo deal on Friday March 31st for their reopening. IF THIS IS THE BURGER THEY ARE SERVING MOVING FORWARD DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I waited over an hour to get to the 1 register they have at the front. When I got there I asked the girl “Is it the regular bobcat burger & can I pay extra for mushrooms” she said yes & went in the back to confirm I can get mushroom. great! Finally looking forward to breaking my fast. The wait was an EXTRA hour & 15 mins for them to get to my order. At this point I already waited in line over an hour I might as well… a total of 2.5 hours later. I get my order, the burger was insulting it was NOT the bobcat they serve. It was like a quick burger you whip up for the kids or one you get from a work bbq. The bun was the size of my palm. Not their regular buns. The mushrooms were not how they usually do them. The patty was bland & the burger only had a random sauce on it (not their normal top gun aioli)… but best of all my burger was RAW! Not undercooked. Just raw… I threw out the burger, some Friday iftar that was smh… there should have been transparency that the deal was a MUCH watered down version of their normal foodI’ve lived in the heartland area for over 15 years & I am very familiar with this place from since they opened…. I reached out to them on social media & didn’t receive a response. Overall disappointed...

Overed Price for Just alright. Had high hopes for this place after seeing the cool instagram videos. Saw a platter of food on IG but when I went there in the evening to order it, they told us the manager wasn't there so we weren't able to get it.

Ordered 4 burgers and 4 combos..my bill ended up to $95. Each combo was $5.75 and I wanted to switch out fries for onion ring on one of the orders and they charged me an additional $5. When the food came we realized the burgers were very dry...we wanted extra sauce as the burger didn't come with much. Went to get more sauce and was charged again. It was only .85 cents but still, we spent almost $100 just give us some sauce.

Feel like the menus has good options and recipes but it just needs executed better. Burger was falling apart and needed more sauce. Portion sizes are really big.

Overall not worth the money. I think they could do better. Adding pictures of the bill which didn't include the $5 onion ring upgrade. A Picture of lack of sauce and the receipt. To be honest kinda want...
