This place exceeded our expectations! First, our reservation mix-up was met with grace. Amidst the Saturday night hustle, the host seamlessly found us a cozy table for two, transforming our reservation hiccup into a delightful evening. The efficient server guided us through a sushi adventure, with two generous platters that made our taste buds dance.

The konjac salmon was a standout, remarkably resembling the real deal. Their vegan salmon, convincingly mirroring its non-vegan counterpart, is a masterful creation. It deceived all our senses with its authentic taste and texture, leaving us in awe. The appetizers boasted rich flavors, and the addition of pesto to the arancini was a succulent touch. The miso soup, gently warm with a subtle infusion of mushrooms, introduced a delightful twist to the classic, offering a sweet and savory dimension that we savored as our initial course. Opting for the platters allowed us to savor a diverse array of sushi, and every bite proved sensational—a culinary canvas adorned with edible flowers and vibrant rolls. Thanks to the spicy mayo, the sushi rolls remained moist and didn't require extra soy sauce. Paid parking (on street) was available not far away for our vehicle.

Bloom Vegan Sushi delivered a delectable experience with prompt and professional service and a menu that left us thoroughly satisfied. We wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward...

Tasty first visit!!

Food we ordered—

Crispy Gyoza (5/5) I loved these!! It’s so crispy and delicious especially with the dipping sauce! I was so sad I had to share this with my bf hahah

Crispy Rice Inari (4/5) these were delightful too but I’m sadden that it only came with 2 pieces!

Soba Salad (2/5) this one was a huge disappointment for me. Despite the vibrancy of the dish, it tasted pretty bland to me. Maybe because I had such savoury tasty dishes beforehand that it made me unable to detect any subtle flavor, but I had to finish this off with a few drops of soy sauce! My least favorite dish of the night!

For sushi we ordered — Kamikaze Inari (4/5) my favorite of the three. Tasty and sweet because of the pear. I enjoyed this one! Salmon Philadelphia (3/5) this one was good but because I’m not fan of dill, it knocked off one point for me. Kappa Mango (2/5) Because i saw mango, I thought it would be sweet but it was actually a bit sour and saltier than the other two. I personally would not order this again. I did like the crunchy toppings on the outside! It gave it a nice texture!

Overall, I enjoyed my time here. I would definitely return to try other sushi rolls and...

I visited this restaurant two times with different experience.

In the first time, the impression was good. The waiter and waitress were so nice and proactive. So, I was willing to give a good tips, around 20%. The waiter specially came to me to say thank you.

However, in second times, three “new” waitresses were totally different. They did things slow and responded slow. Worse still, when I checked-out with cash (my bill including tax was around CAD 22, I gave 40), they asked need change or not. Of course needed! They over-estimated their service. I told them I could give 15% for tips only ( in a good hearted basic).

After waiting a while, they said they only had around CAD 10. No small exchange.

Due to this dishonest business practice. I will not visit again!!! Bad business practice to tourists!!!

This restaurant will be ruined by those dishonest waitresses.

(Still have many good sushi restaurants to choose from...

After watching the popular Netflix series "You are what you eat" this Vegan sushi resto was our first trial at vegan style food. OMG, truly a very true great find. the food was delicious and delicate. You can see the details put into everything from the decor of the food to the taste. Do we really need meat ? We came out full and it the experience was above of what we expected. Price was very fair for the Decor, service and food quality. We tried the Labrador tea which is very nice touch to our dinner. def recommended to try. We tried the Salmon Konjac which is a take on the real salmon. super! We ordered the Fruit desert Maki to finish the night and it was a great finish. def recommend to come here to try! Our journey couldn't have started any better for healthier and more conscience food sourcing. Hats off to the staff here that made the experience a true 5 star. Now let's all head over to 11 Madison Park in NYC. lol.
