My dog and I were roaming the streets of Montreal and walked all the way here as I read it was a dog friendly place. Before getting a seat I obviously double checked if they allowed dogs. When he went to check, a manager of sorts came out greeted me and my dog and said of course we are welcome and petted my dog. They found a nice table for us upstairs. They had so many vegan options and I was beyond grateful for that. They also offered a blueberry beer to taste and I was blown away by it! Never had anything like that before. I ordered their beet salad which again - nothing like I had before. I would call it a naughty salad as it also had deep fried cauliflower in it! Out of the box, right? ;) bring it on! We need more such naughty salads that is just not all too healthy! We need something to keep us going. The place was so full of happy people, happy vibes, amazing service! I couldn’t stop raving about this place and their beers to my husband so we went there again along with his friend and our dog. We got a patio seating this time. Unfortunately they didn’t have their blueberry beer this time. I had their egg plant dish which was so good and we split their fries with the garlic dip! Gosh, that was so delicious that I am drooling as I type this 😄 It’s a joy to dine at spots where the staff are so friendly and generate good vibes! It makes a world of difference. Also, 5 stars for being dog-friendly and having plant-based options! Thank you! 😊

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Le Saint Houblon, and I have to say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. The decor was modern and chic, but still managed to feel cozy and welcoming. I ordered the mac and cheese and chicken burger, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, with just the right amount of cheese and seasoning. The chicken burger was juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and perfectly balanced. The chef clearly has a talent for combining flavors and textures to create truly outstanding dishes. But what really stood out to me was the sour beer I had. It was a perfect complement to my meal, with a refreshing tartness that balanced the richness of the mac and cheese and the savory flavors of the burger. The beer menu at Le Saint Houblon is extensive, and I appreciated the variety of options available. Overall, I had an exceptional dining experience at Le Saint Houblon. The food, ambiance, and sour beer were all top-notch, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding meal and a great beer selection.

The ambiance was nice, the calamari were good but that’s about it. The waiter sucked and so did the rest of the food. The service was lacking and so was the food. We ordered calamari which were crispy and seasoned. (No picture) We also ordered some wings, they were super fatty, the breading was thick and arrived warm not hot. (Didn’t take a picture) We also ordered a burger with a PopChoux poutine, both of those arrived barely warm and extremely dry. We like to order different things and split it. We took a bit each out of the burger and it was so dry we left it there. The poutine was also extremely dry there was no sauce and the toppings were cold while the fries were warm. If the waiter would have came back to ask how the food was we would have told him, instead they were having their own little party behind the bar not really acknowledging customers, we watched people walk out (we should have done the same). He only came back about an hour later to take it all away, when we tried to tell him he was so indifferent it was shocking. We also took some drinks, miel-ito was super sweet but drinkable, while the white sangria was pure citrus super sour. They also didn’t care about keeping the door closed, we dined with our coats on (so did others). I kept getting up to close the door as well as other customers did the same. Will not be going back, what a shame since the ambiance was nice. I don’t really like writing long bad reviews but this experience really sucked waiter got basic 15% I would have given less because he didn’t deserve that but I didn’t.

Revised from recent visit. Been coming here for a while. They were up then down and now they are back up again. That’s the way of the world right !! Great job guys, keeep it up ! Cheers 2022/03/17 We’ve decided to drop a star from our rating. One of the reasons that brought us back here was their super crispy chicken, a/p our photos. This time there was no sample beer while we waited, beers tasted ok and the chicken was over cooked, dry and no the same quality as our first visit. This time 4/5 _________________ We felt transported into another timezone and city ! Although there isn't much space to wait for a table (because this place is often full), we were received with the warmest of welcomes - which isn't always the case in Montreal. They offered a sample of beer while we waited for a table (genius !) and the service was excellent. The ambiance and vibe was enough to transport us in time. We felt amazing once we left, having discovered almost a hidden gem in the city. Great selection of beers, ambiance, vibe, food and service. What more can we say - 5+/5 ! Well done

-------- Five Stars Review-------- I highly recommend a visit to " Brasseurs du Monde!" This was our first time at this fantastic little pub-restaurant and it certainly won't be our last. Our waitress, Marianne, was without a doubt the best we've ever had. She was incredibly professional, dynamic, friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about beer selection and pairing. My wife and I were treated like VIPs the entire evening! The beer selection was outstanding. We tasted eight different beers and for the first time in our many beer tasting adventures, we really liked every one of them. Here are our personal notes based on our tastes. Beer Selection #1 Blonde Québec : 9.5/10 Rousse du Pub. : 10/10 (Coup de coeur) Blanche du Pub : 7.5/10 West Coast IPA : 8/10 Beer Selection #2 Neipa de Course : 8/10 Doppelbock : 10/10 (Coup de coeur) Célébrante : 9/10 IPA : 8/10 The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with a friendly, dynamic vibe. As the place filled up, it got a little noisy, as the beautiful stone walls don't provide much soundproofing. But it was a small price to pay for such a unique and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend taking the time to visit this little gem. Cheers!

This is a really cool spot, it’s the original of soon to be 5 locations! It is a microbrewery, with 22 beers and 2 ciders to choose from (the ciders aren’t theirs). They serve food until 1am which was great as we arrived for 10pm (the last page mains are only served until 10pm though), there was even a wait at this time on a Thursday evening in December. My boyfriend and I were seated in a nice booth and we had a lovely server who spoke English as well. Their beef burger is amazing, so tasty and the pork sandwich was delectable as well! Highly recommend trying #1, their blonde ale, it is so delicious- we had two pitchers (1.5 L) Good value at $16 each. Their is an upstairs area as well with smaller rooms for large private groups. Ps the bathrooms are upstairs at the back! Haha
