I absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The menu is incredibly diverse, offering everything from rich, savory ramen to a variety of bento boxes that include generous portions of grilled teriyaki chicken, fried chicken, Japanese beef, grilled salmon, steamed unagi, and blanched squid. Each bento box comes with a fresh salad, steamed rice, and two sides, making it a hearty and satisfying meal.
Two sides varies daily, which keeps the dining experience exciting. They include takoyaki, crispy hash browns, fried chicken, and even some unique side options that you don’t see often. The portions are very generous – you’ll definitely get your money’s worth here! It’s a cash-only place, but only 10 dollars for the bento box!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Japanese food without breaking the bank!
Tip for you to find the restaurant: Enter through the main entrance of Eaton Centre and take the escalator to Level -2. Upon reaching Level -2, turn around and look for the food court (Eaton’s food court). It's on the opposite side of the food court. Head towards the Place Ville Marie direction and take the escalator. After taking the escalator, you’ll reach the store area. The restaurant is located on...
Read morei rarely write negative reviews and i really hesitated to write this, but i hope that the enterprise can take this as constructive criticsm.
I have been here 3 times now and the first two times i got the bento boxes (salmon and unagi) and loved both, service was great and super friendly. today i was super excited to try the sashimi bowl and i wanted to look past the long (10-15 mins) wait (due to a mini rush) due to the great price of $13.
I was disappointed that upon receiving the bento, the sashimi (salmon, scallop and shrimps) were still frozen & the fried chicken , was actually a fried fish (which i didnt mind but i wish i had been told). I honestly couldnt eat any of the sashimis and ended up just eating the fish and rice, throwing the rest away which was a shameful waste of food & money, despite the low price.
I understand that this is a newer restaurant and that they might get overwhelmed with the (well deserved!) lunch rush, however i really hope that as a consumer, they prioritize the quality of their food and not compromise it to service...
Read moreHaven’t tried the food and likely never will because the service here is terrible and incredibly rude.
I walked in around 2pm on a weekday as I’ve heard good things and I like supporting small businesses. I asked the gentlemen behind the counter (possibly the owner) what are the best sellers and he points to a pre-cooked chicken leg in a tray. It’s the only pre-made thing available and he kept saying it’s cheap it’s only $5. I then asked for one of the bento boxes and he moans any throws his head into his hand and yells that he tired and I should’ve just ordered the chicken. He clearly wanted me to order the chicken because he was lazy and didn’t want to prepare anything else. I walked out after that and went to a big chain...
