Listen, I walked into this little coffee shop in Montreal expecting a quick caffeine fix, but what I got was an espresso so good it made me question all my life choices up until that moment. Smooth, rich, and packed with flavor—this place knows their beans better than I know my own WiFi password.
But wait, there’s more! The vibe? Cozy enough to make you want to curl up with a book, but with just the right amount of background chatter to make you feel like you’re part of something (even if that "something" is just aggressively typing a paper you procrastinated on). The perfect study spot—especially if your study habits involve alternating between deep focus and staring dreamily into your latte art.
And the food? Delicious. I don’t know what kind of wizardry they’re working in that tiny kitchen, but every bite made me forget I was technically supposed to be "working."
Final verdict: If this café were a person, it would be that effortlessly cool friend who always knows where to find the best snacks and never judges you for ordering a second espresso at 3 PM. 10/10, will be back—probably tomorrow.
P.S. If you need me, I’ll be in the corner pretending to write my novel but really just eating...
Read moreThe coffee was pretty good, and the atmosphere was nice, but the barista didn’t put the milk in drink(even though I ordered it with milk and they even announced it was with milk when they served it-without milk) seems like a simple mistake easy to rectify-but when I asked again for some milk they would barely acknowledged me, wouldn’t look at me and seemed annoyed I even spoke to them and still didn’t give me milk. I had to get it from someone else’s left over steamed milk jug that happened to be there. I thought I was being polite. It wasn’t busy in the cafe. Maybe the barista was having a bad day but he seemed friendly towards other customers, so I’m not sure what the issue was. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, but the barista’s attitude spoiled the visit. Nothing against the cafe as a whole, but I probably won’t be back for some time. I don’t want to pay money to feel like I’m not...
Read moreOkay, where to start... Let’s go with coffee, their coffee is one of the best I’ve had in Montreal. Especially their Mochaccino! The ambience is very laid back, relax and the many windows always keeps the cafe filled with sunlight, so it’s truly relaxing to drink there. The workers are super social, kind and always have a smile on their face. It always feel super welcoming when I enter the cafe. The cafe itself is truly involved with the community, they organize event throughout the year and has a cycling club which does rides in the morning. It’s awesome.
+1 since they have many vegan option +1 for good & free wifi I rate it 7/5!
Who needs Starbucks when you have Café Le Club Espresso Bar! I love...
