Today, I discovered Algerian food. I had the Merguez Melfouf, Beef Liver Sandwich, and the Chicken Bourak.

The Merguez Melfouf was full of perfectly cooked colourful sausages. They had a beautiful red hue which was inviting after every bite.

The Beef Liver Sandwich was a simple and delicious. I read that liver is the most nutritious animal product and it also tasted amazing! But I was raised eating liver... some say it is an acquired taste. If you’ve never tried it, this meal is a great introduction. Its a perfectly toasted something with cheese, nomnom, and liver and its amazing so give it a shot.

The Chicken Bourak. First off, Bourak is such a tremendous discovery. Its a fried? but crispy pastry with a delicious gooey egg, cream cheese, and perfectly blended vegetables, spices, and meat inside .

I had to cancel my order after AN HOUR on uber eats, there was 2 for 1 promotion, I ordered 2 poutines. I live 2 min away from that place and took the pick up option, after over an hour the 2 poutines weren’t ready yet, some people were waiting in the restaurant for over 45 minutes. Like guys, it wasn’t a relax monday, it was friday night and you are 2 steps away from all the clubs on Saint Laurent. BE PREPARED.
