Presotea Mont-Royal — Restaurant in Montreal

So i’ve been coming to the Presotea on Mount-Royal for several months now since it opened. And by far I have to say it’s one of my favourite bubble tea places in the Plateau and just Montreal in general. This is due a myriad of factors: quality, service, and environment overall. I don’t drink coffee so I like to supplement my caffeine with tea, unlike other bubble teas stores I like how Presotea fresh brews their tea for each order, compared to a mass brew which weakens the tea taste. Secondly, the service here is genuinely amazing, the staff members always greet me and try to remember my order. They hold great conversation and are just kind even when there is a huge line in the store. They always have a smile on theirs faces and seem to really enjoy interacting with each other and clients. Lastly, the environment is really calm for how busy the Plateau is during the summer; the music is always fun, they have little recommendation boards, and really nice air conditioning!!! Overall, whether you’re just visiting or a Montreal resident you have to stop by!

Rude service. Barely greeted with a hello. Walked in without any form of acknowledgement.

Decided to use the self-ordering kiosk. When i was entering my order, i noticed that it didnt have a hot or cold option. I asked about making bubble tea option hot at the machine and they said that it was on a note on the machine (it was not). The girl proceeded to have an attitude the whole time while taking my order (i ended up going to the cash). With how disorienting the situation was, i forgot to ask for a dairy free milk option. That prompted the staff preparing my bbt to start making noises with the metal cups used to foam milk (basically slamming things around in annoyance).

I am a huge bubble tea fan and just love any bubble tea but this by far is the best I've had. Its super fast and the tapioca pearls are yummy and chewy. I especially loved the passionfruit green tea it's so good and it has a different feel to it then other boba shops. Also the staff there is so nice.
