Raviolis Impression- Impression Dumplings — Restaurant in Montreal

Its was our first taste of dumplings and the overall exerperience was 5/5 for all three: Food, Service, and Atmosphere!

We ordered; the mixed steamed dumplings, and mixed potstickers. Both were combos that came with 2 springs rolls (for each of us) to start us off, and a coke.

Spring rolls: surpast the crunch test, with 0% sogginess. Flavor-wise; blended together evenly throughout each bite. And, not one-flavor had too much flavor, or over-powering flavor overall to the spring roll. It was perfectly cooked and preped to our liking.

Dumplings: were flavourful; and deliciously juicy. And, of course; piping hot fresh off the steamer. It was even more tastey when adding the sauces on the side. My absolute favorite piece we'd chosen on their menu in our entire order. My only regret was not ordering extra (steamed and friend) dumplings to take back home with us!

The potstickers: were also very delicious; and flavorful! And, all-combined equally into a perfect and authentic taste. I assumed that the herb mixed together inside of the wrap within the meat, to have been Cilantro. Normally, that herb would taste like soap to the both of us. But, this time we got to experience somethng else. And, we were on the other-side of the herb; where both my partner, and i could really enjoy the taste for once, and became apart of that side! We're 4hrs away from the city of Montreal in a small town named Maniwaki, where none off these foods are readily available. So, we were a little apprehensive but for a first-timers perspective all of our expectations were beyond met. We are now hooked to the cuisine, and any chance we can get to experience their food again we will be dipping our toes...

I give 5 stars to the restaurant and their staff, but I had a bad experience with the Top Menu Resto Loco delivery service / driver when you order directly from their restaurant website. I chose to order directly, thinking it might help them save on fees typically associated with Uber Eats, etc. I ordered dinner for my parents as a treat and asked for it to be delivered. The precise and full address (with phone number) was given, no errors. The tracking indicated it was delivered but we never received it. We checked with the concierge and even checked with the concierge of neighbouring buildings, but nothing. No deliveries. I never received any call from the delivery driver. I tried to call the driver but it went straight to voicemail and hours later, still no response.

I called the restaurant to explain the problem and here's really why I want to give them 5 stars: They very kindly prepared the entire order yet again for pick-up, in under 10 minutes, at no cost to me! The food was so delicious! They spared me the inconvenience of seeking a refund from Top Menu and they sincerely hope Top Menu will reimburse them for this lost delivery. It wasn't even the restaurant's fault. I've also contacted Top Menu Resto Loco to validate and make sure this restaurant receives its due reimbursement. Will update re how Top Menu Resto Loco treats this matter. Again, my thanks to Impression Dumplings for their great customer service and delicious food!...

Following my dance teacher to different studios that being Latin Groove on the fifth floor of ,372 Ste Catherine W. My teacher had two food suggestions after a gruelling session in a bright large mirrored room with big windows. The cafe cc on the ground floor which was busy as people were living the CC, great coffees and crepes. I ventured next door to 368 and the Impression Dumpling restaurant. I loved the humble interior and drank tea while admiring the muraled wall. My pork and coriander steamed dumplings basket of 15 pieces arrived freshly made. I devoured 5 of them with a vinegar sauce( mistake). They were good but not over the top. The skin shell could have been thinner and the meat content more full bodied in taste. I brought the other 10 pieces home,sampling them with a light microwave reheat and a ginger, soy,hoisin and honey sauce that my wife made for her Asian turkey balls. The latter made a big difference as did my wife's satisfaction as she finished the remaining half of the basket.. Service was more than attentive,I liked the cached vibe in the Quartier des Artistes. You can have dumplings of several kinds:pork,chicken, lamb and seafood. I would sample other kinds of dumplings other than pork the next time that I use the Latin Groove studio or swing at the Jazz Festival. I also want to indulge in Cafe CC to try the...
