#1 arrived there just before 14h booked under Danie, food took forever to arrive but at least the waitress came to apologise. #2 I asked for the bavette blue, and it arrived close to well done and as the waitress took forever to come back I had already finished eating it when she asked, I did mention it but the answer was sorry about that.....but as I said I ate it all , as in any cases I did understand that the kitchen was already closed as the waitress came to take the dessert order before we even got the main courses. #2 Bao buns hardly any chicken but are tasty #3 Wagyu dumplings are very tasty #5waiting for the bill a good 10mn even though we asked for it and having her asking me again if I wanted it was not very good... #4 the beignets....for 18 $ putting three tim bite size ( or a little bigger to be fair) with a very little coulis on top is a bit odd ....surely your professionally trained chef can dig two small holes at the base and using a piping tip stuff the beignets with the chosen coulis, but you d be right if you think who am I to try to teach a pastry chef , or maybe its cost related .... #5 Conclusion: I had this terrasse on my to-go list and after paying 173.61$ + tips = 196$ + valet parking at the Williams for the 2 cars = 54$ .....honestly, I removed this place from my list at once ....for the vue 5 stars, for food 0.5, service....well the waitress was smiling so 2 stars ..... From what I understood perché is part of the Williams, if it is please let me know as for sure I'm removing this terrasse too from my want to go list as surely the kitchens are shared. Suggestion if you please: maybe give a discount for valet at Williams if eating in the restaurant on presentation of valet coupon as le Monarque does and please do teach your chef how to cook a blue bavette cause 250 $ meal including valet for 2h11mn lunch is not normal..... as I said we arrived just before 14h and the bill was printed at 15h11 by chanel M . Table 41. To finish on a positive point, your bavette is very tender and tasty even cooked to...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that it deserves to be shared. A friend and I had a reservation and were seated on the terrace. It was a sunny day, but unfortunately, things went downhill immediately after we sat down.
We were left completely ignored for over 20 minutes. No greeting. No water. No menu walkthrough. Nothing. We politely tried to get the attention of multiple servers and even two busboys, but we were brushed off and told to “wait for our server.” Meanwhile, tables that arrived after us were being served promptly.
Eventually, we got up and asked the hostess to speak with the manager. Turns out, the person we spoke to was the manager — and her response was incredibly dismissive. She simply said, “Oh, you were looking at the wrong waiter,” as if the blame was somehow on us for not being psychic. There was no apology beyond a flat “sorry,” no offer to make things right, not even a glass of water to acknowledge the delay. The only thing she offered was to move us to a different table — by that point, the damage was done.
We left feeling completely unvalued and unwelcome. No one should have to sit under the sun for 20 minutes trying to flag someone down just to be acknowledged. Hospitality and basic customer service were sorely lacking. If you care about being treated with even a shred of respect, I’d strongly recommend thinking twice before...
Read moreThe restaurant is lovely, with a gorgeous view, delicious food and great staff except for one individual by the name of Stephanie. We were a group of girls celebrating our girl friend’s birthday, we were told by our serveuse that we could move to a table with a good view of the port, and when we did so, we were approached by Stephanie who I believe is one of the managers and she was rude, had a highly unpleasant tone and single handedly ruined our experience, she grabbed the gifts of the birthday girl and was mean saying we can’t just sit wherever we feel like sitting, she glared at us, stomped off and just had a highly unpleasant demeanor. She did not talk to our serveur, nor did she apologize to us, I don’t think with such attitude one should work in the service industry. The situation felt unsalvageable until David arrived, he was everything Stephanie wasn’t - kind, sweet, polite and the epitome of wonderful customer service! He made sure we enjoyed ourselves and our every need was heard and understood. Thank you David for the wonderful...
