Avoid This Place at All Costs Terrible NYE Experience.

My wife and I decided to try this spot for our NYE dinner after moving to Montreal a few months ago. We’re big fans of craft beer and thought it could be a fun option. Unfortunately, it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We made a reservation a month in advance with a note that said “ table please “ , yet upon arrival, the hostess was rude, handed us a single menu, and told us to head upstairs. Once upstairs, the waiter clearly didn’t want to deal with us, repeatedly telling us, “Hold on, it’s busy,” before finally taking us to a bar table. I had noted in the reservation that we wanted a proper table, but when I brought this up, the waiter snapped, saying, “Look around, man, there are no other tables.” This was false there were plenty of empty tables. The bar table he brought us to was a mess: uncomfy chairs and a tabletop that slid off its legs, making it impossible to enjoy. When I mentioned this to the waiter, his response was, “What do you want me to do about it? I’m not a table fixer.” We asked to move to the bar instead, hoping for a better experience. At the bar, things didn’t improve. My beer arrived 45% foam the worst pour I’ve ever seen. We ordered “large nachos,” but they were laughable: burnt chips, barely any toppings, and not enough cheese. While eating, a staff member cleaning glasses in front of us splashed dirty water onto our food more then once.. it was time to leave but we had to go wash dirty dish liquid of our hands in the bathroom. The bathroom was the final straw dirty, chaotic, and filled with people openly using drugs in the stall. This was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. From the rude staff to the terrible food, poor service, and unsanitary conditions, it’s shocking this place has the reviews it has guess we just got unlucky. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. Thanks for ruining our NYE dinner!
