Tonight my friend and I decided to go to chip and Charlie’s for some wings after work. As we both work in the industry(servers & bartenders) we understand how busy it can be. It took 5-8 minutes to be greeted at the door. We finally got a seat, took another 5-8 mins to be greeted at the table. The server asked us what we wanted to drink. Brought us over ours drinks then walked away. The server did not approach us probably for another 10-15 mins. We asked for menus then waited another 15 mins for our order to be taken. While we were waiting for our server to come back over to lave our order, we watched our server flirt with all the men and stand behind the bar eating food. She did not knowledge us once. We asked for our apps to come out first but that did not happen. The food came out all at once. After placing our food on the table that was the only time our server came to check in. The restaurant was not busy. But, maybe if we were men, or had men with us we would have had better service. I was appalled by the lack of service. Not only was the service terrible, she was extremely rude. It was like we were a burden to her. She SHOULD not be in this industry if that’s how she treats customers. She really needs to work on her customer service skills. To describe this server: older blonde hair lady with shorter her. You won’t miss her as, she only cares about the men in the restaurant. Smiling and laughing with them. With us miserable and rude. The only reason I gave this review a one star is because I can’t give it zero stars. After suggesting Chip and Charlie’s to my friends as part of our girl’s weekend activities, I found myself quickly regretting this recommendation. After reserving a table for 10, when we were seated, our server approached our table with impatience, disinterest and downright hostility. Instead of the expected greeting of “Hello” or “Welcome”, she promptly told us how busy she was, leaving us with a feeling that we were bothering her! She took our drink orders and when she came back and we asked if we could order our food, she told us she didn’t have time for that! Eventually she did take our food orders, but again with a great deal of impatience and was intolerant of any questions we had. Clearly, she didn’t want to serve us, so we then requested a change in server. The second server then came to the table and stated, “I guess I’m taking care of you now, but just so you know I am busy too”. I was floored at the attitudes and the lack of customer service. When we finally did get out food, our plates were dropped (not placed) on the table, which caused fries to slide off and land on the table. Needless to say, we didn’t stay and enjoy the band as planned. We certainly were not made to feel welcome! This is very unfortunate as it could have been a great evening for everyone. Read moreI don't know which owner i complained to but he was an owner who is just as rude as his waitress, walked in and ordered a western sandwich to go, the bartender who took my order was very nice and prompt but the sandwich took about 30 minutes to come out even though the restaurant was almost empty with many people sitting at the bar. Waiting standing up by the kitchen window 30 minutes are a long time, to make a long story short a young waitress with glasses and brown straight hair to her shoulders interfered and told me it takes time to make a western sandwich while she is rolling cutlery and eating her bruschetta that came out before my sandwich. The owner shrugged his shoulders when i complained to him and he just walked away from me and went back to sit at the bar..i put the western sandwich on the bar in front of him for by this time i had lost my appetite and told him to have it, he replied by saying: I will eat it too...he continued to open the box to start eating my sandwich and did not even offer me a refund, him and his waitress are definetly not hospitality people...the irony of it all is that i paid for that sandwich and this owner with a fat...
