wish I could give negative stars. it's been a long time since I've felt the need to right a negative review, which should say a lot. my wife was attempting to switch it up from our normal place (swaggit on Dunn st, which I highly recommend) and came across this on Uber eats with a buy 1 get one promotion. we both thought "great we can try a new place and not break the bank" the app wouldn't apply the BOGO online so we contacted the store directly and talked to a woman. she explained we couldn't get the BOGO to work online and if we could just make the order directly. the woman on the phone assured us that wouldn't be a problem and took our order. at the end of the conversation we had a chicken biriani, butter chicken and 3 orders of garlic Nan, she told us our total was $27 and change and would be ready in 15 minutes. fast forward to where this takes the one star turn. (my wife made the order and I overheard it all) I myself enter the establishment while she stays in the car with our 4 year old. I confidently hold out $40 to pay for my order, and the lady looks at me like I have 5 heads and says "sir this is only $40?" me, confused: "yeah?" she looks at the screen, looks back to me and with attitude says... "It's $46?" I then continue to investigate what's going on.. I said "I heard the whole conversation, and that this is suppose to be a BOGO, why am I being charged for both?" she said she couldn't apply the coupon, but I could go online and buy it on Uber eats in front of her and try applying the coupon again. at this point I was beyond myself as the sole reason I called in was because that promo wouldn't apply online. I told her to remove MY chicken biriani from the order, and I would just take my wife's butter chicken and Nan. she was hesitant and fought me to do this. but eventually stood her ground and pretended this exact conversation/agreement wasn't made just 15 minutes prior to me standing at that counter. I paid for the remainder of our order and returned to the car. my wife immediately noticed I was irate and asked what happend. I told her she lied about honoring the BOGO and tried hustling me into paying full price for everything. she looked at me confused and said well... did you? I said of course not, I just didn't buy my dinner, but yours is in the bag. she immediately fired out of the car and into the building, I won't tell her side of the story as she's writing her version own experience in a seperate review(also 1 star, should go look for it) but TLDR, she doubled down and returned hers as well. we called our regular swaggit and are eating their food while writing this review. lesson learned....
Read moreI came with my friends to Niagara and stopped by at Naan (The Indian Kitchen). We ordered chicken biryani and Hakka noodles. It’s the worst ever food we tried recently. Trusting the reviews, we gave it a try, turned out to be the worst experience ever. The service was good and the staffs were so polite. It’s just the overall taste of food is terrible.

Thank you for your response.
I’d like to clarify that our review wasn’t based on a minor preference issue—it was based on the fact that both the chicken biryani and Hakka noodles tasted genuinely terrible to all five of us. We’ve been traveling and trying food from various places, so this wasn’t our only dining experience to compare against. Everyone in our group, from different regions in India, unanimously agreed the dishes were far below standard.
Specifically, the biryani tasted nothing like what it was supposed to. You didn’t list it as “fried biryani” on your menu, so it was confusing and disappointing to receive a version that seemed fried, which doesn’t align with traditional or even popular biryani preparations. Simply stating that “this is the recipe we follow” doesn’t justify serving something so far off from what was expected—especially when the name doesn’t indicate any deviation.
We also informed your staff that the food took longer than expected, and since we were traveling, we couldn’t wait further or take up the remake offer. That said, we did genuinely enjoy the paneer wrap and mango lassi and mentioned that as well.
Taste can indeed be personal, but when five people with varied regional tastes agree something was off, it speaks to more than just personal preference. We hope this feedback is taken...
Read moreMy friends and I are your regular customers. We usually order take out. Saturday night we order through Uber Eats and I think by mistake the order got canceled and I got charged the full 80$. First, I contacted Uber Eats Support which is the proper channels in this case. The operator on the call asked us everything I explained the situation. She told me that she contacted the Restaurant and they’re getting full amount I made her clear that I would like to have my order as cancelling was not intentionally. She told me that you have to pick up the order from restaurant as she had called the restaurant already. Then we walked into the restaurant to pick up food. We were not asking refund from your staff. I told the staff that I’m getting charged the full amount of 80$ and I’m not getting food from your restaurant and/or not getting refund from Uber. As a customer that is very disappointing situation. None of our friend misbehave with your staff. We were just there to pick up the food because proper channels uber eats support operator told us to do. Overall experience was frustrating as uber eats support told us restaurant getting the full amount and your staff keep saying you’re not gonna get the food.
But lesson learned so me or none of my friends are gonna order again from...
