Fudge Factory — Local services in Niagara Falls

Feb 8: Went there last Friday for the first time ever. I had a friend who recommended this place to me. We were worried it might have been closed but then we saw people coming in and out of the store so we rushed in.

When we got there, we were bedazzled by all the treats around. There were two cashiers helping someone else and we were just taking our time. No greeting just a really rude toned “CAN I HELP YOU?” As if she was annoyed of us being there.

She was rude the entire transaction, when I tried to stay kind and ask for recommendations she didn’t really seem to want to do anything helpful at all. We also clearly heard her and her colleague discuss how much she hated working there, and boy could we feel it.

Finally I felt as though perhaps we came in right as they were about to close, so I asked her what time it closed she said “10pm”. I really don’t know what my family and I deserved to be treated this rudely. But it truly soured the experience I had at this place. Will not be returning if she still works there.

I went to this store this evening in hoping of enjoying some candy apple and chocolate dipped waffle cones. As I was standing in line, I witnessed a staff (Taylor) pick up the few waffle cones that were dropped outside of the tray onto the hot case and put it onto the tray with the rest of the cones. I work in a restaurant and even teach food safety and this is definitely not safe. The case is contaminated with other food and staff hands. I inquired this with the Taylor and she said that this is how they operate and that I don't have to shop at their store and asked me to leave. She was very rude in her tone and I was not satisfied with the and answer. I wanted to know more so I spoke with another staff at the entrance who took side of Taylor instead of providing a proper answer to a potential customer. Their customer service was very bad and I left feeling very upset. This experience left a very sour taste for this store and unfortunately I will not be returning. Instead of making sure customers are left with feeling safe, staff of this store were rude and asked customers to leave...
