This a must visit restaurant which is very new in the neighborhood opened just 4 months before and is still under atmosphere change. But this will not at all effect your dine in experience. The restaurant is filled with positive experience and you are welcomed with a friendly staff who are very helpful and delighted to see their customers/guest walking in the resturant. Sitting arrangement is very nice and comfortable. Ordered chat papri, in main course Methi Malai Matar and Garlic Naan and đ„ Lassi. Absolutely stunning delicious and fantastic food. Chaat came early after Lassi, but main course came a bit early as we dint even finished the chaat yet( may be i was eating it slow as yougurt was super cold). So I ate chaat side by side with main course(as I dint wanted my main course to get cold)But main course was very delicious and Absolutely smartly managed spices. I did saw many Caucasians in the resturant who were enjoying the delicacy, so I will sure recommend everyone that you should not hesitate to dine in here, as spices will be managed for you. I over heard servier was was frienldy enough to recommed the right food to them and constantly askd their dietary restrictions and provieded right recommedations and kept their spices level according to their needs.I really enjoyed my time and food over here will certainly visit again and will certain recommend anyone who is visiting falls must plan their dine in in this resturant. Washrooms are clean but still have to keep in mind about the regular cleanliness.
Update April 2023
Ordered brigantine bharta, Garlic Naan, lime soda and đ„Lassi and it was amazing and with Right smoked flavor with controlled spicesđ
This time I dint face much issue with the wait time as I had a only main course, however I assume the reason why usually the wait time is bit higher is because of the large sitting capacity, but that doesn't affect the quality of food which is kost important in resturant, but I think with more time and experience they will manage to serve quick but this time I personally dint face any issue to wait longer.
also came to know that if you leave a review you will get 5% off on your total bill, however I dint mention that I have already left a review on my next visit I will certainly remind them hopefully they will be able to prove me some discount of the same offer is still valid, by the way I din't leave a review just to get any discount. I love to share my opinions which can help other customers to enjoy local good food. I wanted to mention that the washrooms were poorly managed with no hand towels or blowers to dry hands out, after you wash your hands, and cleanliness needs to be paid attention to as it is very small and if you don't maintain the cleanliness then it can be difficult to use it and I think they need new chairs as most of the seats are ripped off and new wall paint as well as paper as the colour combination and furniture are not giving a great resturant appel. Please work on the atmosphere and colour combination for a better look of...
Read moreTried Dhaba On The Falls for the first time with my family for dinner on a Friday night after seeing the high rating of this dhaba restaurant.
The restaurant is located close to Clifton Hill at Niagara Falls. It was fully occupied after 10 pm and we were told to wait for 15 minutes but we got a table only after about 30 minutes or so. The music that was playing outside the restaurant was too loud and a bit annoying.
The restaurant ambience was okay. Not as I thought it would be. The Dhaba vibe was missing. However, the bar inside the restaurant looked fancy.
Pawan, the server for our table took our order which consisted of Dal Makhani (Chefâs Recommendation), Bhindi Masala, Kadhai Paneer (Chefâs Recommendation), Tandoori Rotis, Butter Naans and Laccha Onion Salad.
The Dal Makhani was a complete disappointment as it tasted like some other dal and wasnât authentic at all by any means. The presentation of the dish was also below standard. The Kadhai Paneer which was also one of the chefâs recommendation was sweet rather than being spicy. It was lacking the flavour of roasted coriander which is a key ingredient in this dish. We immediately reported this to the server who was kind enough to replace both the dishes. We just got the Kadhai Paneer replaced (as it was already late) which was again a bit sweet but slightly better than before.
The Bhindi Masala was good. It included green & red peppers which were absolutely raw and should have been slightly sautéed to make them a bit soft.
As for the breads, both the tandoori rotis and butter naans were well made and tasted pretty good.
The onions in the laccha onion salad were soggy and not crisp. It was also poorly presented in a plate that seemed like the wrong type.
The prices of all the dishes in this restaurant were higher compared to other Indian restaurants in the GTA offering much better quality of food and service so one needs to be mindful while ordering their dishes.
I provided my feedback about the quality of the food to the restaurant staff and they said they already knew there was a problem with the Dal on that night. In that case, they should have cautioned us before ordering that item. None of them even apologized for the inconvenience and poor quality of the dishes.
The restaurant needs to work harder on the quality and presentation of their dishes to provide a much better experience to people wanting to eat...
Read moreI selected this restaurant for my family group of 8 based on the great reviews however, my experience wasnât that great. We did not have reservations however, when we got there, they had a table available and we were seated right away. No one came to take our order for 20ish minutes and we didnât get water for about 32 minutes. We were checking the time frequently as we were parched when we arrived and quite hungry as well. Really disappointed as we had to ask for water 2-3 times before it finally arrived. Not sure if they were understaffed or overwhelmed as the restaurant was about 75% occupied or both. But itâs quite astonishing that other servers couldnât even notice our table didnât even have water.
The appetizer came about 10-15 minutes after we ordered but they came one by one instead of together - a bit odd and disappointing. We got pani puri - the water was way too sour, we did not enjoy as much. We got the dahi puri as well, which was alright; this needed a bit more flavour. We also got the paneer kali mirch masala - this was fantastic.
We ordered the mains as soon as we got the last appetizer but it still took another 20-25 minutes for the dishes to arrive.
For mains we got dal makhani, this was a bit spicy and it should not be spicy for this dish type. Itâs suppose to be creamy and a bit sweet. We also got kadai paneer and Delhi style butter chicken, both very spicy. The butter chicken was ridiculously spicy. We struggled to eat these dishes but we were hungry and did not want to waste food so we did our best. We also did not want to go back to order another dish and wait any longer again.
We also got the jeera rice, butter, and garlic naan; no issues here.
Overall, because of the extreme slow delivery of items and lack of appropriate service, I would rate this place 3. Food was not that great overall. Not sure if the restaurant was having a bad day as the reviews say otherwise.
The food quantity was very generous so thatâs a plus point.
I would suggest be prepared to wait and expect food to be spicy if you plan to...
