barBURRITO — Restaurant in Oakville

I am downgrading the rating of this joint due to a recent terrible service experience. Seems like, of late, they have employed a new staff which is not just incompetent but also insensitive towards family and children.

Talking about personal experience, I drop by this restaurant with my wife and 5 yrs old kid on a busy weekend evening. The staff requested us to wait aside as number of food orders were high as they wanted to prioritize single order and uber eats whereas standard pattern is first come first serve basis. The service staff kept us on hold for about 15 mins despite my kid was requesting them about our turn. Finally, out of frustration, we had to walk out without any food.

Displaying such rude behaviour to an adult is one thing but treating a 5 yrs old with such harsh behaviour, that too in Canada, is something unbelievable.

I would advise folks to avoid this place lest you may also get such a pathetic service some day. We got many more burrito joint options...

Burrito:

With the pricing and overall quality I was surprised for 16$ I get a tiny sized burrito with 2 small scoops of chicken that I’d say was nothing better then average, for the same price get yourself a loaded burrito at fat bastard or quesada

Bowl:

With a bowl with shrimp and chicken costing $22 I would expect good service, quality of food, and good portions. Nothing that was expected was delivered. The server barely understood my English and was hard to communicate with and when asked for a bowl on the side to not make a mess I was refused one. Clearly this business cares more about a 80c bowl than their customers satisfaction and while I don’t really mind the bowl issue much, it speaks volumes as to what this business’ practices and priorities are. I ordered 2 large spicy chicken Burritos . Ill be honest it was overall tasty with a wide variety of toppings and sauces. However the employe there(the old Man) is extremely stingy and rations the protein its not even funny. This is also true when it comes to the vegetables.

Take in I ordered 2 large chicken Burritos and two drinks and the total came out to $40. I would advise to avoid this płace if youre trying to get a Bang for your buck. If you insisit on going to this płace dont be shy to ask for more toppings, I had to practically demand more for every vegetable.
