The service at this restaurant is just awful, totally inconsiderate. The cashier, who's also the owner, told me to order a small plate through Uber, which I did. Then I ordered a main dish in person. After ordering, the owner said, “You can’t eat the small plate here.” She didn't even offer any other options, like maybe paying extra tips to eat it there. She insisted I could only eat the main dish inside and had to put the small plate aside. Her attitude was super harsh the whole time, and I ended up having to leave with all my food. She didn’t give any clear instructions before or during ordering, and the place was empty, so it wasn’t about being short-staffed. It blows my mind that they offer cash deals for themselves but won’t serve dine-in customers properly. I’ve heard they’re nice to white customers, but I’m not white, and I received terrible service.
After the response from restaurant, I feel worse. I truthfully described and reviewed the terrible service I received, you twisted it into an accusation of racism against you and portrayed yourself as the victim. You label customers who experience poor service with false accusations to dodge the negative impact of bad reviews, rather than addressing the real issues with your service. This behavior is worse than providing poor service.
Following your suggestion, I bought a small plate through Uber eats and also purchased a main dish on-site. Throughout my entire ordering process, you never asked whether it was for dine-in or take-out. Only after I had paid did you ask and then deny me the option to dine in. Your service attitude was terrible throughout the entire process; not only was there no consideration for offering alternatives, there wasn’t even a smile. Essential steps in the ordering process were skipped, leaving the customer to deal with the consequences.
Please, don’t mention your staff; during entire process, I only interacted with you. You were also the one who previously actively encouraged customers to pay cash to get discounts.
It’s rare for a restaurant to not address issues with their service but instead blame the customer's review as a false accusation. I did not accuse you of racism, but you seem to have inserted yourself into that narrative. I don’t know if your poor service is due to mismanagement or if it's a consistent targeting of certain groups or races, but you certainly know yourself. Why your reaction is addressing my negative review of your poor service includes an accusation of racial discrimination? Please note that it is you who are misrepresenting my truthful review after providing poor service. It regrettable to part ways with a place I frequented in such a manner. We placed a large take out order for our family that included 3 set meals: Sukiyaki Udon, Buta Udon, and Tonkatsu Curry Udon. All the dinner sets included Miso soup, Salad, and the daily small plate, which was Takoyaki on this particular day. We also ordered a Tonkatsu Curry Donburi and a Mapo Tofu Donburi.
First off, the people here are so nice, and they provide excellent service. As I mentioned, our order was quite large, and without asking, they helped take our order to our car. I wasn't expecting it, but a very nice touch.
The food was packed excellently and I appreciated that they kept the sauces and broth separately, so the food wouldn't get soggy. As for the food, it was so good!!!! I knew the food would be great once I tired the Takoyaki... it instantly took me back to Osaka. So flavourful! All the Udon dishes were cooked to perfection. The noodles had the right chew, and the broth/dashi/curry reminded me of all my travels in Japan. The Donburi bowls were also very delicious. This restaurant is a must go... highly...

Total unprofessional. Wow! I got a huge response letter from this revengeful hearted lady! Saying that I was rude??? YOU Were the rude and disgusting one not me. So go and tell your lies somewhere else. Such a revengeful, arrogant lady or boy idk I'm not assuming , very aggressive. I hope the cameras have audio so they can hear how rude you were over speaking me and not listening to why I didn't bring a thermol bag and just being aggressivly rude. Don't bother threatening me with a long words of revengful threats response letter, I won't take it to count because I already feel threatened. While working people may not be perfect but verbal dominance with rudeness and not listening is totally unexceptable.
