Mac's Sushi — Restaurant in Oakville

(REVIEW ONLY FOR OAKVILLE AND ERIN MILLS!) This place is the best choice of mine to go to if you want sushi!

Pros- Sushi and sashimi is great, service is SUPERQUICK, wide selection of food, staff is kind and cooperative, and the place is very clean.

Cons- Salmon sashimi needs to be a little more smoked, but it's still yummy.

I usually order crabsalad rolls and if they have them I also buy a ramuné fizzy drink. Crabsalad rolls are 10/10. Also if you are looking for a small dessert snack there they have pocky biscuit sticks, which are those cream coated thin cookies. Lol I also couldn't get the marble unstuck out of my ramuné fizzy drink so the woman working there kindly offered to open it for me. Finding a place to sot is very quick and easy, also at the end of the day all of the food goes on sale!...

They are horrible. Do not understand the order, I asked for vegetarian sushi, confirmed my order again while giving the money and the lady there said yes to the vegetarian . I started eating but the taste seemed off so I went back to them to ask what veggies did they put and then they said it is not vegetarian, it was crab sushi.I had never eaten meat in my life, I am a pure vegetarian person..and of course I was furious. The guy said it might be miscommunication...I told him it was not miscommunication, it was not listening on their part even when I confirmed that this is vegetarian before giving the money. And worse was that they had no remorse even when I said I am a vegetarian and you sold me this for what..10 bucks? Awful!!! Never trust that you will get what you ordered. So disgusting...

Terrible Experience at Mac’s Sushi – Oakville Place

I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. The staff member specially the Chinese man was extremely rude and unprofessional, making me feel completely unwelcome—almost as if I was bothering them by being there! There was no respect or basic customer service, which made the whole experience uncomfortable.

As for the food, it was average at best and definitely not worth putting up with such terrible service. Customer service is a crucial part of any restaurant, and if they can’t even offer a basic level of respect, I see no reason to return. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent...
