A&W Canada — Restaurant in Oakville

A&W oakville place is horrible and disrespectful. Ordered a mama burger combo and when I sat down and opened the bag and my fries were missing. No problem, hesd up to the cash and said I think you forgot the fries or did not charge me for them. I offered to pay the difference but she would not give the discount and wanted to charge me the whole price, $4.10 for a small fry without the combo discount. In spite I said forget it and went to New York fries and told them what happened, he gave me a small fry for 2 dollars because he felt bad.

It is a shame that in today's world customer service it at an all time low. I worked in the resturant business for years and would have never treated a customer like that. Too be honest when we made a mistake like that we use to give the fries for free not try to double charge. The cashier would not give her name but it was Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 at 720...

The person making the food was at the front chatting with the cashier. When I showed up she went to the back and started preparing my order. Not sure if she washed her hands. She prepared all the food with no gloves on, saw her drop the onion rings into the fryer with her bare hands one at a time. One person was sitting at the desk right inside the door, eating, food all over her face while chatting with the cook. Forgot to take my tomato off the burger, cashier packing it said that, saw burger go back and come back immediately, no tomato! Pulled it right out of the burger! Got home and the napkin was a paper towel ripped in half! Aside from the fact that it’s A&W and you expect the food to be good, I felt like I was in a third world country with the service being so subpar...

A&W in Oakville Place Mall. Sadly have to say stay away! Went to the A&W restaurant in Oakville place mall on Jan 15th, 2022. I arrived 5:45 pm on a saturday which is 15min before they close. After waitng for almost 10min whilst the staff cleaned the floor they eventually decided to help me after I got their attention. The lady took the order and my payment...after about 5 min a young male came out and said we are closed! This was about 5 min before closing an I was awaiting my order, I told him I paid already and awaiting on my order... then with a rude gesture he gave me attitute and went back in!
